Smart Substation plays an important role in power system and it is an important part of building the smart grid.The Smart Substation continues the functions and characteristics of the digital substation and it can automatically accomplish the basic functions of measurement,control,protection and so on.Moreover,the protection and control part is an important function link in the smart substation,and is also an important guarantee for the normal operation of the substation.With the rapid development of information and automation technology,the protection and control device also has the characteristics of digitalization and networking.And the connection between devices in smart substations is more closely.Because of the rapid development of intelligent substation,great changes have taken place in the relay protection device,which is becoming higher demanding for the professionals.In recent years,research on Smart Substation Training System has become a hot topic in the field of electric power.Training system can simulate and reflect the actual operation mechanism in substation and can make the trainee have a more profound understanding of the function and operation of the device.However,at the present stage,most of the simulation training systems focus on the operation and introduction of device functions.The simulation system for the internal principle and information characteristics of the device is less,especially the system developed by combining the information characteristics with the functional requirements.With the continuous updating of the technology and the rapid development of substation,the above situation will cause the current simulation system cannot meet the training needs of the future power practitioners.Therefore,it is necessary to study the scalability and efficiency of the simulation training system for protection and control devices from the perspective of the scalability of the training system and the training efficiency.In view of the above analysis of the current development situation of the training system,this paper puts forward a simulation analysis method for the protection and control behavior of the smart substation for the field training.The method is built on the basis of the device model and the design scheme of the whole simulation system is constructed by analyzing the information characteristics and the function principle of the protection and control device.In the process of simulation,different kinds of logic components can be customized combined according to the difference of device principle,and building the simulation model of the required device.And in the analysis procedure,using graphical interface to visualize the composition principle of the device and the process of function realization,which lets the trainee understand the whole function of the protection and control device in the smart substation.In this paper,the work completed in the process of simulation analysis can be summarized as follows:1.The paper analyzes the information characteristics and function principles of protection and control devices in smart substation.The construction of the device model is divided into two parts: information model and function model.Establishing information model of device according to object oriented modeling method in IEC61850 standard.At the same time,the functional behavior of the protection device,the merging unit and the intelligent terminal are introduced in detail.Based on this,the functional model of the device is established.2.According to the functional requirements of the simulation,the simulation system is divided into three parts: simulation platform,simulation algorithm and communication function.In the process of implementation,the simulation platform is built to realize data management of the model.At the same time,in order to meet the diverse characteristics of the device model,a simulation element library is established to support customized computation.In view of the communication between the actual devices in the substation,designing a communication network with SV message and GOOSE message as the transmission format which based on the IEC 61850 standard protocol.3.In order to show the function of the simulation and the performance of the simulation process,a comprehensive verification test is carried out for the simulation.The final test results prove the correctness and stability of the simulation process,which shows that the proposed simulation and analysis method of intelligent substation protection and control behavior has certain application potential and feasibility.
