| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of massage therapy given priority tokneading and nipping Yiwofeng acupoint on infantile common cold due to wind-cold.Methods:68children with infantile common cold due to wind-cold meeting theChinese and western medicine diagnostic criteria were divided randomly into two groups,each with34cases. Patients in treatment group were received massage therapy givenpriority to kneading and nipping Yiwofeng acupoint, which was plused or minusedaccording to the syndromes. Patients in control group were treated by takingGanmaoQingre Granule. After1courses of treatment, curative effects of treatment groupand control group were evaluated, and clinical symptoms were observed before and aftertreatment with the improvement of the situation and the length of the course, and so on.Results: The total effective rate and cure rate of treatment group were100%and44%, while the one of control group were88.2%and23.5%, so there was a significantdifference between two groups (P>0.05); integral comparison between two groups infever and runny nose had significant difference (p<0.01), and integral comparison inaversion to cold, headache, sneezing or cough had no statistical difference (p>0.05).The comparison of two groups of children in duration had a significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion: Massage therapy given priority to kneading and nipping Yiwofengacupoint has a significant clinical effect on infantile common cold due to wind-cold,and is superior to oral therapy with taking GanmaoQingre Granule both in terms of improvingcurative effect and shortening period of treatment. It is a treatment method deservingexpansion. |
