| 1 Objective Modefied Bazhen Decoction in the prevention of chemotherapy induced bone marrow suppression as the breakthrough point, provide clinical research data for the traditional Chinese medicine on prevention and treatment of bone marrow suppression induced by chemotherapy. Provide a practical and reliable way for the Chinese medicine treatment on bone marrow suppression. From the angle of reducing the bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy, provide a new connotation for the traditional Chinese medicine to reduce the toxic and side effects of chemotherapy.2 Research60 cases of malignant tumor patients were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group and control group, each of 30 cases. Control group: normal chemotherapy plus Diyu Shengbai tablets, the treatment group: normal chemotherapy plus Modefied Bazhen Tang Keli. By observing and recording the change of peripheral blood cells and bone marrow suppression condition, the improvement of Chinese medicine clinical symptoms, changes in the quality of living and body weight, changes of immune status and adverse reaction, study clinical affection of Modefied Bazhen decoction on the bone marrow suppression induced by chemotherapy.3 Results Analysis of Changes in blood:(1)Comparative analysis of the peripheral blood changes before and after treatment:blood routine examination after chemotherapy7 days,white blood cells(WBC), neutrophil granulocyte(NE),hemoglobin(HGB)and pancreolauryl test(PLT) of control group and treatment group decreased significantlycompared with those before treatment(P<0.05), treatment group declined significantly less than the control group. 14 days after chemotherapy, WBC, NE and HGB are into an upward trend, the treatment group was better than the control group,but PLT is down to the lowest point. 21 days after chemotherapy, WBC, NE,HGB and PLT of the control group were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05), while those of the treatment group had no significant change than before treatment(P<0.05). But the treatment group was significantly different from the control group.(2)Comparison of the incidence rate of bone marrow suppression after treatment: Observation of blood of patients after chemotherapy 1week,incidence rate of WBC, NE and HGB bone marrow suppression of treatment group was significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05), and degree of inhibition of bone marrow suppression of treatment group was lower than the control group(P<0.05). And for PLT bone marrow suppression rate and marrow inhibition degree, the control group and the treatment group had no significant difference(P<0.05).(3)Comparison of the therapeutic effect of WBC after treatment:Observation of blood after chemotherapy 2 weeks. We found for the control group the effective rate was 53.3% and for treatment group the effective rate was 83.3%.Treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Improvements in Chinese medicine clinical symptoms: The treatment group was better than the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of Chinese medicine(P<0.05) after treatment.Improvement in quality of life : After chemotherapy, the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in KPS score improvement(P<0.05)and weight stability(P<0.05).Improvement of immune function: The CD3+, CD4+, CD4+ /CD8+, NK cells haveincreased significantly(P<0.05)after chemotherapy for the patients in the two groups,but CD8 +decreased significantly(P<0.05). Comparing the two groups of patients with chemotherapy, the treatment group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).Security comparative analysis: The digestive tract reaction in the treatment group was significantly less than that in the control group(P<0.05), and there was no significant difference in the liver and kidney function damage between the two groups(P<0.05).4 Conclusions Modefied Bazhen Decoction can effectively prevent bone marrow suppression of cancer patients after chemotherapy, improve traditional Chinese medicine clinical symptoms in patients with bone marrow suppression, improve the quality of life of patients and enhance patient immunity with secure and no significant side effects. |
