| BackgrounCervical Spondylotic Radiculopathy(CSR),whose symptoms include dyscinesia and Movement disorder which are in Consistent with the distribution area of spinal nerve roots,Caused by stimulation or compression of the nerve root of one or both sides of the spinal cord,is only a commonly clinical encountered diseases,It is one of the mostcommon types of cervical spondylosis.It belongs to the "xiangbi" in TCM.Rencently,the age of patients suffering from CSR was trending younger,CSR not only takes up a lot of medical resources,but also affects the quality of patients’ life was severely.Currently the treatment of CSR is mostly used conservative therapy,Acupuncture and moxibustion,massage and other traditional therapy play an important role.Needle knife and silver needle are originated from acupuncture,they have shown good effect on treating CSR in clinical.Needle knife and silver needle can improve local blood circulation,promote inflammatory resolution and tissue regeneration.Relevant clinical study has proven that needle knife or silver needle therapy only in the treatment of nerve root type cervical spondylosis had a good clinical effect,but their clinical general therapeutic effect in treating CSR hasn’t been proven.Purpose of researchTo observe the clinical curative effect of acupuncture combined with silver needle therapy in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Joint silver needle comprehensive observation needle knife therapy for the clinical curative effect of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type.Efficacy of needle knife combined of silver needle therapy for treating nerve-root cervical spondylopathy of clinical efficacy.Research methodsFrom May 2014 to October 2015,in the Department of acupuncture and rehabilitation hospital of Shiyan Taihe Hospital,and a total of 90 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 45 cases in each group.Patients in treatment group were treated with needle knife combined with silver needle combined therapy,first acupotomy,3 to 5 days after silver needle therapy in the treatment of rows of one time for a course of treatment,the control group was treated with electroacupuncture,one time each day,seven days for a course of treatment,continuous treatment two courses.After the end of the course of treatment,the two groups of symptom score and efficacy comparison.Using the simplified McGill pain questionnaire and the 20 points method of nerve root type cervical spondylosis observation and curative effect evaluation index.ResultAfter the end of treatment,the data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 statistical software.Results:(1)the treatment group total effective rate and cure rate were 97.8% and 62.2%,the control group was 86.7% and 40%;(2)the two groups after treatment,the symptom scores were significantly higher than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);the treatment group was significantly higher(P <0.01);(3)the two groups of patients after treatment of PRI,VAS,PPI pain scores were lower than those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),showed that Acupotomy combined with silver needle and acupuncture can improve the nerve root type cervical spondylosis patients with pain symptoms;two groups of patients before and after treatment PRI score and VAS score between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.01),PPI score difference of P<0.05,shows that the improvement of pain in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,better effect of acupotomy combined with silver.ConclusionThe treatment group and the control group can improve the symptoms of patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type,but acupotomy combined with silver needle treatment group curative effect surpasses the electroacupuncture group and adverse reactions occur rate is low,clinical popularization and application. |
