Objective: Through the study of the application of contralateral needling in the ancient and modern times, summed up adaptation diseases, acupuncture method and the law of the clinical application, in order to provide theoretical basis for future acupuncture treatment in clinic.Methods: Adopting the literature study and the methods of bibliography, with the help of artificial reading and retrieval, accessing to ancient and modern literature, this topic gave priority to the clinical literature research, analyzed the collected data.Results: Theoretical study: there were four acupuncture methods in ancient time, left disease choosing right side treatment, right disease choosing left side treatment, bleeding therapy with stabbing meridians, marking pain point as the acupoints and acupuncturing according to the changing of moon in all. Two acupuncture methods in modern times, one was crossing acupuncture, the other was bleeding therapy with stabbing meridians. There are three kinds of indication in ancient time, the modern contralateral needling method is mainly used in four kinds of diseases.Clinical study: 25 kinds of diseases were mainly treated with contralateral needling in ancient time, with containing 6 main diseases. In modern times, 27 diseases were mainly treated by contralateral needling, in which 8 diseases were in priority.Conclusion: The article analyzed the theory of the contralateral needing, and the law its main curative disease in clinic, aiming to provide references for the modern acupuncture clinic. |
