The Research Progress Of Treatment On Steroid-induced Avascular Necrosis Of Femoral Head And Analysis On Herbal Administration Experience

Objective: To summarize the recent advances in the treatment of steroid-induced avascular necrosis of femoral head(SANFH) by using traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support system(TCMISS),traditional Chinese herbs prescriptions on SANFH were mined with retrospective data mining method.TCM principle and method of treatment,methods of using herbs,principles of formulating prescriptions and prescription regularity were summarized and the new TCM prescriptions in the future were explored.This is helpful to inherit and carry forward the experience of traditional Chinese medicine, providing a certain reference basis and new therapy idea for TCM clinical diagnosis and treatment and research work of SANFH.Methods: The prescriptions for SANFH were collected from CNKI,Wanfang and PubMed database.To establish the SANFH prescription database of TCM,the effective prescriptions were input into the TCM inheritance support system(TCMISS),and the composing principles were analyzed by using data mining methods such as revised mutual information,complex system entropy cluster and unsupervised hierarchical cluster. Based on the analysis of the database,abundant clinical experience such as prescription principles,rules,regularity and new prescriptions of doctors for SANFH were mined.Result: On the basis of analyzing the 298 references of SANFH from TCMISS,we got 256 effective prescriptions,involving 211 Chinese herbs of which the frequency of occurences over 40 were 23 kinds.The most commonly used three categories having the functions of nourishing liver and kidney, promoting circulation and removing stasis and reuniting bones.The frequency of the herb composition occurences over 70 were 13 ones. Such as radix achyranthis bidentatae and angelica sinensis,teasel root and angelica sinensis, rhizoma drynariae and angelica sinensis,radix achyranthis bidentatae and teasel root, rhizoma drynariae and teasel root,ligusticum wallichii and angelica sinensis, carthamus tinctorius and angelica sinensis,radix achyranthis bidentatae and rhizoma drynariae, liquorice and angelica sinensis,radix astragali and angelica sinensis.When the support degree was 35%,4 core herbs were mined.They were angelica sinensis,radix astragali, teasel root and achyranthis bidentatae. Based on the unsupervised clustering analysis of data method, 10 new prescriptions were mined from the database.Conclusions:1.There were various ways for the treatment of SANFH,but the surgical treatment was the main method.With the development of the modernization and internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine,TCM treatment for SANFH will draw more and more attention in the world.2.TCM treatment for SANFH was uniquely positioned to other methods.The past TCM principle and method of treatment focused on strengthening kidney and promoting blood circulation,as well as reuniting bones,nourishing yin and clearing away heat,apromoting qi circulation and relieving pains as assistance.3.The TCM inheritance support system(TCMISS)could be pratical and scientific to be used to analyze the TCM doctors’ clinical experience objectively.It will be of great value to summarize the clinical experience comprehensively.For the heritage and development of traditional Chinese medicine, the establishment of the standardization of traditional Chinese medicine had a certain guiding significance.
