As the field that encouraged by the greater-health industry,premium healthcare is a main field of medical service by private capital,and is an important part of medical and hygienic undertakings during China’s 13 th five-year plan period(2016-2020).Presently,there still lacks a unified,standardized definition for high-end medical care.Since the new medical reform,high-end medical care,as a key field of medical service by private capital,has been vigorously supported by state policies.Several documents have been issued since 2014 to lower threshold and encourage private capital in this field.Presently,such fields as premium healthcare,disease prevention and health management are of infinite potential as people’s needs for diversified medical services are released and medical care and health service merge with each other.Still at its early development stage,China’s premium healthcare is hampered by a lack of human resources,incomplete team building,a lack of expertise,weak influence of brand and difficult management.As the best hospital in China,Hospital A,with its top experts,good reputation and rich experience,is able to provide a wider range of services for patients with different needs.Under such a backdrop,a research into Hospital A’s strategic management of high-end medical care may serve to guide the hospital’s future development and provide reference to other hospitals in the same field.This thesis studies the hospital strategy by following an approach of raising,analyzing and solving questions.It reviews the development course of high-end medical care,and presents current conditions and main problems.Through a SWOT analysis of problems facing the International Medical Services of Hospital A,it reveals the advantages and disadvantages inside the hospital,as well as opportunities and threats from outside.Based on comprehensive analysis,this thesis proposes a strategy for future competition and its implementation,that is,to provide highly efficient services centered on patients,cultivate talents with international vision,and probe into managerial innovation through “internet plus”.It also proposes a development strategy for key departments.Lastly,the thesis proposes four methods for quality control of the strategy to guide future work by combining theory with practice. |
