directly affects the health of the people and the stability of society.How to improve the emergency management capabilities of hospitals for public health emergencies is of great significance.This article takes a public hospital in Xinxiang City as the research object,researches and analyzes the problems existing in the emergency management of the new crown epidemic prevention and control,and proposes improvement countermeasures,so as to enhance the hospital’s emergency management capabilities and effectively respond to public health emergencies.Provide a reference for the occurrence of.This article uses the 4R crisis management theory as the theoretical basis of the research,and uses the literature research method,case analysis method and interview method to carry out the research.In order to fully understand the actual situation and existing problems of emergency management of public health emergencies in a hospital in Xinxiang City,a combination of semi-structured and unstructured interviews was used to conduct targeted investigations and interviews with staff and patients in different positions in the hospital,and Organize and summarize the interview results.Analyze the actual problems of hospital emergency management from the reduction phase,preparation phase,response phase,and recovery phase in the 4R crisis management theory,and analyze the causes of the problems in depth,and propose targeted improvements based on the promotion of the hospital’s emergency response capabilities.Countermeasures.Investigation and research found that there are a series of problems in the emergency management of public health emergencies in a public hospital in Xinxiang City:in the shrinking stage,the early warning and monitoring system of the hospital is not perfect and the monitoring channels are relatively simple;there is no emergency management department and the shortage of emergency professionals;The information transmission mechanism between the hospital,the media and the public has not been established,and the information lacks effective downward communication.In the preparation stage,the first is the shortage of emergency material reserves.Due to the unpredictability of public health emergencies,the daily material reserves at the time of the event are far from meeting the needs of the event;secondly,the emergency plans and emergency drills are just a mere formality.;Finally,the imperfect training system and the weak awareness of personnel crisis seriously affected the overall level of hospital emergency management.In the response stage,the emergency response was not timely,the coordination and cooperation of various departments were not tacit,and the treatment process was chaotic;the epidemic reporting system was incomplete and the emergency assessment feedback mechanism was lacking.In the recovery phase,first,the hospital ignored the psychological crisis intervention work for the personnel;second,the problems in the emergency management of the hospital during the outbreak period were not resolved and improved in time in the post-epidemic period.Reason analysis: First,the legal protection is not perfect,and the classification of hospital emergency management disciplines is not clear;the second is the lack of emphasis on emergency management,which is also the root cause of the problems in the hospital
