Objective: The high Prevalence and low cure rate of mental disorders have brought serious harm to our society.Understanding the basic situation of mental Patients is essential to the imPlementation of mental health services.The assessment of mental illness burden also Plays an imPortant role in mental health decision-making.The overall evaluation of the hosPitalization costs of mental illness Patients and analysis of its influencing factors,Provide mental health Policy a scientific basis for reference.Methods: Based on the cross-sectional and retrosPective research methods,SAS 9.1 and SPSS 23.0 software were used to analyze the baseline data and medical exPenses data of various mental Patients admitted from a Psychiatric hosPital in January 2001 to October 2016 and to discribe the distribution of number of Patients with mental illness.The t-test and variance analysis were used to test the cost of hosPitalization.The factors influencing hosPitalization exPenses of Psychiatric Patients were analyzed by multiPle linear regression analysis.Results: 1.A total of 26,151 cases of mental illness were admitted in the mental illness sPecialist hosPital from January 2001 to October 2016.There were 119,056 Person-times,including 9,864 cases of malePatients,41,460 PeoPle and,16,827 females and 77,569 PeoPle.The number of female Patients and the number of female visits were greater than men.2.The toP five hosPitalized cases were dePression,schizoPhrenia,anxiety disorder,Recurrent dePressive disorderand conversion hysteria;the toP five attendance times were recurrent dePressive disorder,schizoPhrenia,anxiety disorder,biPolar affective disorder,dePression.3.The number of dePressed ePisodes Patients with the largest number of hosPitalized cases has been declining since 2013.The number of Patients with schizoPhrenia has been declining since 2007,and the number of recurrent dePressive symPtoms has continued to rise in 2012,and the number of Patients with isolated(converted)Obviously,the number of other anxiety disorder Patients increased slightly after 2008.Since 2001,the number of men and women has been increasing year by year,and men and women have reached the Peak in 2013 and 2014 resPectively.4.The main factors influencing the medical exPenses of the Patients with mental illness were hosPitalization days,Payment methods and admission times.Conclusion: Since 2001,the number of Patients with dePression for the 6661 PeoPle,is the largest number of Patients with mental illness,recurrent dePressive disorder total treatment of 37,888 PeoPle,the total medical costs of 19509.7 million,is the largest number of medical Personnel and medical exPenses.Medical exPenses uP to 6139 yuan Per time of schizoPhrenia.From the PersPective of disease burden,dePression and schizoPhrenia are the city’s most worthy of Patients with mental illness.The main factors influencing the medical exPenses of mental Patients include social factors and clinical factors,clinical factors(length of hosPital stay and number of hosPital admissions)should be a breakthrough in reducing direct medical costs.
