Objective observe the clinical efficacy of warming acupuncture method in the treatment of nervous tinnitus, with the use of conventional needling as the control group, for the sake of objectively evaluate the differences in the curative effect of these two different methods. So as to enrich the treatment methods of acupuncture for nervous tinnitus and provide more efficient and convenient therapeutic schedule for clinic. Methods There were 62 patients meeting the nervous tinnitus, with the use of random number table, they were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, and 32 cases in the treatment group,30 cases in the control group. The treatment group was treated with warming acupuncture, while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture. The two groups were both treated 1 times a day,10 times is a course of treatment, after the end of the 1 course of treatment, the patients were asked to rest for 1 days, and then continue to the next course of treatment, treated 3 courses in total. After the end of the 3 courses of treatment, observing the curative effect by comparing the two groups of patients with symptoms and the integral contrast, then objectively evaluate the difference of curative effect between the two methods of nervous tinnitus.Results(1)the clinical curative effect comparison: after 3 courses of treatment, the treatment group(warming acupuncture group): 8 cases were cured,15 cases were markedly effective,7 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective, the total effectiverate was 93.75%;the control group(conventional acupuncture group): 3 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,6 cases were effective,8 cases were invalid, the total effective rate was 73.33%.After the treatment, the two groups’ relevant data were compared with statistical methods,P < 0.05,which shows a statistically significant.(2)the index contrast of tinnitus severity degree and the contrast before treatment and after treatment in the treatment group were analyzed by rank sum test, the treatment group during the treatment process, showed P<0.05,as to the appearance environment of tinnitus, the lasting time, and the impact on sleep as well as life, and overall feeling,P < 0.01,the difference has statistically significant.the contrast before treatment and after treatment in the control group, were analyzed by rank sum test.As to the duration of tinnitus, the impact on sleep as well as mood and feelings were generally,P less than 0.05,the difference has statistically significant;as to the appearance environment of tinnitus and the impact on life as well as work,P<0.05,the difference has no statistical significance.(3)Comparison between the tinnitus severity degree assessment index and the evaluation standard(referred to the "Qingdao standard"): prior to the treatment, two groups’ symptom score was compared.,P<0.05,there was no statistically significant difference, thus comparable;after 3 courses of treatment, symptom scores of two groups of patients were compared by rank sum test analysis,as to the appearance environment of tinnitus and the impact on sleep,P < 0.05,the difference has no statistically significance. There were significant differences in the duration of tinnitus, the influence of emotion, life, work, and the general feeling,P< 0.05,the difference has statistically significance.Conclusion(1)After three courses of treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group(warming acupuncture group)was 93.75%,the total effective rate in the control group(conventional acupuncture group)was73.33%,by contrast, two kinds of acupuncture therapies were effective in the treatment of nervous tinnitus of qi and blood stasis, but the curative effect of warming acupuncture is better than that of conventionalacupuncture. Also warming acupuncture therapy of the curative rate and total efficiency is superior to conventional acupuncture therapy.(2)Both treatment methods could improve the symptoms and functions of patients with nervous tinnitus of qi and blood stasis but warming acupuncture therapy in improving the patients loudness oftinnitusand related symptoms(appearance environment, duration, impact onsleep, work, lifeand an overallsense of mood)hasobviously statistically significance,so the warming acupuncture therapy is better than the conventional acupuncture therapy in improving the living quality and working environment of patients.(3)Both treatment methods could effectively reduce the duration of tinnitus, improve the sleep quality and effects on emotion of patients Also, they could reduce the overall feeling of patients with tinnitus. However, warming acupuncture therapy could not only stimulate the affected side by the double effect of acupuncture and moxibustion, but alsocould make the heat from moxibustion conduct deeply to the inside ear canal. It could effectively make the power of heat penetrateto the focus region and dredge the meridian as well as adjust the qi and blood. Thus, the stagnating qi of the ear was dredged, the qi and blood were collaborated, the meridian was unblocked,so that the”choking”ear got nourished, and then improve the supply and circulation of blood in the ear, promote the metabolism of tissue around the ear.At last,to reach the goals about strengthening the body resistance to eliminating pathogenic factors, balancing yin and yang and improving the curative effect.Obviously, there is an unique advantage in warming acupuncture method in the treatment of nervous tinnitus. For example, this method has exactly curative effect, simple and safe operation, convenient acupoint selection, and the benefit of clinical promotion.
