The Clinical Study Of The Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream In The Treatment Of HIV/AIDS Patients Complicated With Eczema

[Objective]: Through observing the clinical effectiveness of Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream,the hospital preparation of Yunnan Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine,in the treatment of eczema in HIV/AIDS patients,comparing the curative effect with that of Fusidic Acid Cream and collecting data,to investigate the curative effect of two topical drugs in the treatment of eczema in HIV/AIDS patients,to verify the safety and efficacy of Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream in the treatment of the target indication and the repeatability of the research,to find a topical drug which has more lasting curative effect,less side effect,more convenient usage,more reasonable price to treat the mucocutaneous lesions in HIV/AIDS patients and to provide some guidance and help for clinical treatment in the future.[Method] This study is conducted among 60 cases of male HIV/AIDS patients with eczema.The patients are randomly divided into two groups: the Chinese Medicine Group and the Control Group.30 cases are in each group.Out of 6 cases,the final qualified into the statistics of each group of 27 cases(n = 27).In the Chinese Medicine Group,patients are treated with Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream,while in the Control Group,patients are treated with Fusidic Acid Cream.The methods: Two kinds of drugs are locally applied to the affected areas,three times a day,7 days for 1 courses,4 courses for a period.The patients’ conditions are observed and recorded on third days,seventh days,fourteenth days and twenty-eighth days after the treatment.Thearea and severity of lesions are observed and scored according to the EASI Score Method and VAS Score Method.Through the statistical analysis of the recorded data,the clinical efficacy of Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream and Fusidic Acid Cream are to be compared in the change of the area of skin lesions and the degree of itching for HIV/AIDS patients with Eczema after a period of treatment.In addition,the therapeutic effects of two methods in treating HIV/AIDS patients with eczema are to be compared.[Result]:1.After being treated with Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream and Fusidic Acid Cream,the condition of HIV/AIDS patients with eczema has been significantly improved.The area of skin lesions has been significantly reduced(EASI score before and after treatment(p<0.05)).The degree of pruritus has been significantly reduced(VAS score before and after treatment(p<0.05)).2.According to the result of the treatment,the comparison of the result of the curative effect of the Chinese Medicine Group and the Control Group(p>0.05),and EASI score(p>0.05)and VAS score(p>0.05),there was no significant difference between the clinical curative effect of Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream and Fusidic Acid Cream in the treatment of eczema in HIV/AIDS patients.[Conclusion]:1.Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream is an effective preparation in the treatment of eczema in HIV/AIDS patients,which has a good curative effect on contracting the lesion area and reducing the degree of itching.2.There is no significant difference between the clinical curative effect of Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream in the Chinese Medicine Group and Fusidic Acid Cream in the Control Group in the treatment of eczema in HIV/AIDS patients.They have the same treatment safety and efficacy.3.Huangjin Wanhonggao Cream is cheap,while Fusidic Acid Cream price is more expensive.Therefore,it has an important significance to reduce the economic burden of HIV/AIDS patients.
