The Study About Disease Uncertainty,Parenting Stress And Coping Style Of Parents With ZKS Children

Objective:The study aims to understand and analyze the differences in social demographic characteristics of parents’ uncertainty,parenting stress and coping style in children with(Zenetrale Koordination Storung,ZKS).The study explores the status and relationships between parents’ uncertainty,parenting stress and coping style to improve the quality of life of children with ZKS.Methods:The study is a correlation study with no experimentation.The convenience sampling method was used to investigate the parents of children who had been diagnosed as ZKS in a grade three hospital in Yanbian,Jilin province.A total of 350 questionnaires were distributed and 330 were back in this study.296 of the questionnaires were effective,counts 89.4%.The research uses social demographic characteristics,disease uncertainty scale,parenting stress scale and coping style scale.And the study uses SPSS 17.0 statistical software to analyze the data of the questionnaires by t test,variance analysis and correlation analysis.Results:(1)The uncertainty score of parents of children with ZKS disease in the study was 2.82±0.48.The score is in the middle level,and the difference is significant in residence,education,religion,gender and age of children and treatment methods(p≤0.05).(2)The score of parenting stress for the parents in this study is at a high level,and it is 2.63±0.62.There are significant differences in the factors of children relationship,work status,education level,economic status,treatment methods and so on(p≤0.05).(3)The frequency of coping style using of surveyed parents is 3.74±0.73 and the effect of that was 2.36±0.48 in the study.Nationality,residence,work status,education level,economic status,age,only child or not and treatment methods are significant in differences(p≤0.05).(4)The study contrasts the relationships of uncertainty and parenting stress and coping styles of the surveyed parents.It shows that disease uncertainty and coping style was negatively related to frequency and effect size(r1=-0.283,r2=-0.393,p≤0.01);Parenting stress and coping style of the frequency of use and the effect size was negatively correlated(r1=0.401,r2=0.294,p≤0.01),and the effect size was positively related to coping style and coping style of the frequency of use(r=0.491,p≤0.01);It means the lower coping style of parents of children with makes higher disease uncertainty and parenting stress.Conclusions:(1)The disease uncertainty of parents of children with ZKS was in a middle level.And it was affected by residence,education,religion,gender and age,the mode of treatment.(2)The parenting stress of 66.2%children with ZKS was at a high level,and the relationship between factors and the working condition,education level,economic status,treatment and other relevant.(3)The high using of coping style of parents of children with ZKS in this study was depended on the nationality,residence,work status,education level,economic status,age,whether the only child factors and treatment methods(4)Coping with uncertainty in illness,negatively related to parenting stress,the frequency of coping style and the use of coping style is positively related to the size effect of coping style,means that the lower the parents of children with the disease uncertainty,the higher the parenting stress.
