Objective:To investigate the association between polymorphisms of F+1 and S2 locus in ADAM33 gene and bronchial asthma in Xinjiang Kazak population.Method: 39 Kazak patients with bronchial asthma and 50 Kazak healthy individuals in Xinjiang were enrolled in this study,to analyze it polymorphisms by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).Results:there were statistical significance in frequency distribution of ADAM33 gene F+1 locus genotype among the two groups(x2=9.033,P=0.011<0.05),and there was no statistical significance in allele frequency distribution(x2=1.524,P=0.217>0.05).Compared with CC genotype、C allele,CT、CT+TT genotype、T allele can not increase the risk of asthma [OR(95%CI)Respectively as 0.741(0.290~1.890),P=0.530、1.111(0.467~2.641),P=0.811、1.571(0.765~3.228),P=0.217>0.05].Conclusion:The polymorphism of F+1 locus in ADAM33 gene has associated with asthma in Xinjiang Kazak population, and the genotype and allele of F+1 locus in ADAM33 gene did not increase the risk of Asthma in Kazak population. |
