A Comparative Study Of Acupuncture Academic Thoughts Between Cheng Danan And Zhu Lian

The development of modern acupuncture presentes a scientific trend,to keep up with the development of the times,modern physicians combinates the acupuncture of Chinese and western medicine.Cheng Danan and Zhu Lian are all well-known Chinese acupuncturist in modern times.They were the representatives acupuncture of the north and south,explaining theory of acupuncture by Western medical theory of physiology,pathology and anatomy,practicing the development of acupuncture science,providing new theories and ideas for the development of acupuncture.This article compares the similarities and differences from the ideas of point,meridian,moxibustion,acupuncture manipulation,mechanism of acupuncture etc of Cheng Danan and Zhu Lian,and analysis the influences on the development of modern acupuncture.By means of literature collection,collation,comparative study and so on,this paper discusses the background of modern acupuncture development,and analyses of the formation of internal and external factors of the academic thoughts between Cheng Danan and Zhu Lian.By Studing on the academic thoughts of acupuncture in them,providing reference to further explore the development direction of contemporary acupuncture.This article has four parts.First,it researchs the historical factors and characteristics of modern acupuncture.Modern history is the turning point of the development of acupuncture,the development of scientific research of TCM compeles the acupuncture doctors to seek a new direction of development,they startes to use western medical theory to explain the basic theory of acupuncture.When the people’s Republic of China founds,the party and the state both advocates the scientific development of TCM,ushers it in a new situation for the development.The second part introduces Cheng Danan and Zhu Lian’s life,retrievals literatures about Cheng Danan and Zhu Lian,summarizes the research status of the academic thoughts of the two doctors.The third part main separate discourses main academic thoughts of acupuncture in two doctors,mainly from the aspects of meridian,acupoint,moxibustion,acupuncture manipulation,acupuncture mechanism and so on,to find out theirs scientific understanding of acupuncture theory,and then studies and compares the main academic thoughts of them to analyse the characteristics of modern acupuncture theory.The fourth part main analyzes the reasons for the similarities and differences of acupuncture academic thoughts between the two doctors.Finally,a studies and analysis of that Cheng Danan and Zhu Lian’s acupuncture scientific thought has a profound impact on the development of modern acupuncture.In some sense,it guides the development of modern acupuncture.
