PURPOSE:To explore the expression level of VEGF,CD31,CD105 and their clinical significances in endometrial cancer.METHODS: From 2012 to 2015,52 cases of endometrial carcinoma were collected.Twenty-two cases of atypical hyperplasia and 21 cases of normal endometrium were selected as control groups.Expression levels of VEGF,CD31 and CD105 were analyzed by immunohistochemistry,and the blood vessels stained with CD31 and CD105 were counted.RESULTS:1.The positive rate of VEGF expression in normal endometrium tissue,atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma was 23.8%?31.8%?65.4% respectively(P <0.01).The expression of VEGF was correlated with lymphatic metastasis(P<0.05).2.The CD31-MVD was significantly different in normal endometrium,atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma,which were 23.6±11.7?31.5±17.7?51.9±21.1(P<0.01).The CD31-MVD was correlated with tumor stage,myometrial invasion and histological grade(P<0.05).3.The CD105-MVD was significantly different in normal endometrium,atypical hyperplasia and endometrial carcinoma,which were 3.6±3.3?4.1±3.0 ? 6.2 ± 2.9.There was significant difference between the three groups(P<0.01).The CD105-MVD was correlated with lymphatic metastasis and tumor size(P<0.05).4.There was no correlation of VEGF,CD31,CD105 expression in endometrial cancer tissues(P>0.05).A significant difference that has been registered between the CD31-MVD and CD105-MVD in endometrial carcinoma(P<0.01).CONCLUSIONS: The over-expression of VEGF,CD31 and CD105 may participate in angiogenesis of endometrial carcinoma.This research shows that they have clinical value as the tumor markers of endometrial cancer.
