| Objective To evaluate the sexual life quality of tension-free vaginal tap in female stress urinary incontinence(SUI).Methods Clinical data of 64 female SUI cases treated with TVT/TVTO between Feb.2012 and Sep.2016 were obtained.All patients completed ICI-Q_SF and PISQ-12 questionnaires pre-and-post operatively.The patients were divided into two groups according to disease course,follow-up interval,age of onset and history of gynecological or pelvic surgery.changes of PISQ-12 scores before and after operation were compared between the two groups,higher score indicates that sexual life quality was improved.Results The pre and post-operative ICI-Q-SF scores and PISQ-12 scores are 14.95±3.70 vs.1.91±3.40(t=21.84,P= 0.00),and 30.61±6.15 vs.32.89±5.15(t=-4.28,p=0.00).Besides the physical domain,there is no significant change in behavior emotional domain and sexual domain.The post-operative ICIQ-SF scores have a significant difference compared with pre-operative.The post-operative PISQ-12 scores in the subgroups of longer disease course,elder age,surgery history,lower efficiency and complications has no significant change compared with pre-operative’ s.Conclusion TVT/TVTO seems to lbe a simple,effective and minimally invasive procedure without severe complications,it shows a positive effect on sexual life quality.Longer disease course,ages of onset,past surgery history as well as the efficiency and complications of TVT/TVTO may lead to adverse effects on the females’ sexual function. |
