Objective:Preliminary discussion on the feasibility of the tree shrews as a new model of amblyopia analysis research, observe the form deprivation of tree shrews change of the VEP and ERG.By electrophysiology preliminary understanding the form deprivation of tree shrews visual function,in order to further understanding the pathogenesis of amblyopia formation and provide a theoretical basis. Methods:Fourty young tree shrews, only 18 days of birth size of the tree shrews were randomly divided into 6 groups, regardless of male and female. The first four groups(A,B,C,D)with 8 in each group, two groups with 4 in each group, determine the packet after each treatment are as follows:the right eye suture in 1 month group(A group);the right eye suture in 2 month group(B group);the right eye suture opened in January 1 months left for suture(C the right eye suture group);1 months after opening without suture group(group D);control group 1(E group),and group A is the age of young tree size, under the same environmental breeding shrews;2 in control group(F group),is a young tree B,C,D size, age group under the same environmental reared shrew. After the model was finished,VEP and ERG were detected in each group, and the results were statistically analyzed.Results:1.Pattern Visual Evoked Potential(P-VEP):Found on each line of the P-VEP detection, the experimental group(A,B,C,D group)showed the sutured eye waveform changes in different degree,A and B groups were deprived eyes of P100 wave showed different latency, amplitude decreased(P<0.05),and for sewing the contralateral eye right eye group showed somewhat short latency(P>0.05).2.Flash Electroretinogram(F-ERG):In group A and group B,the F-ERG adaptation and accommodation of b waveform in deprived eyes and contralateral eyes showed a decrease in amplitude(P<0.05),but there was no obvious abnormality in the rest.Conclusion:1.The tree shrews is feasible as a form deprivation amblyopia model.2.It is suggested that the detection of electroretinogram, visual deprivation of existing tree shrew retinal bipolar cell function disorder may inhibit or.3.Through the visual evoked potential and electroretinogram visual conduction function, suggesting that deprivation of visual conduction dysfunction caused by and(or)inhibition will be recovered.
