| ObjectiveIn this study,we investigated the level of benefit finding in female patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University,and discussed the main factors influencing the level of benefit finding of breast cancer patients in chemotherapy stage,and provided theoretical reference for improving the level of patients’ benefit finding.MethodsUsing the convenience sample way,the breast cancer patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from November 2015 to November 2016 were selected,General information questionnaire,Chinese version of Benefit Finding Scale(BFS),Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ),Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS)were investigated.Packet processing of data using SPSS21.0 statistical software,using descriptive statistics and standard deviation frequency and rate,using t test,single factor variance analysis,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression to analyze benefit finding and its influencing factors in female patients with breast cancer.Results1.The scores of benefit finding in female patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy was(48.93 ± 11.46).2.Different ages,the existence of religious beliefs,different marital status,different education level and occupation,family income,different payment methods,different tumor stage had an effect on benefit finding in female patients,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Pearson correlation analysis showed that,psychological resilience,facing,avoiding,social support had positive correlation with benefit finding in female patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy(r=0.656,0.493,0.422,0.586,P<0.01),the dimension of yielding had negative correlation with benefit finding in female patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy(r=-0.595,P<0.01).4.The results showed that optimism,yielding coping,social support utilization,self-improvement and subjective support entered the regression equation.Conclusions1.The scores of benefit finding in female patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy was(48.93 ± 11.46),at a moderate level,there is still rising space.2.Young,religious,spouse,good family economic conditions patients whose benefit finding are found to be high,Junior high school and below the level of education,housewives,to take their own or cooperative medical care,stage IV patients whose benefit finding are found to be low.3.High levels of psychological flexibility,and more social support for patients with higher levels of benefit finding,take measures of facing coping and avoiding coping were found to have a higher level of benefit finding,yielding coping had a lower level of benefit finding.4.Optimism,yield coping,social utility,self-reliance and subjective support are the main factors that affect the benefit finding in female patients with breast cancer during chemotherapy. |
