Analysis On The Quality Of The Reports And Pathological Features Of The Animal Experimental Study Of Tumor Bone Metastasis In Chinese Journals

Objective: 1.Objectively evaluating the quality of experiment report and the pathlogical characteristic of the animal experiment research on bone metastasis of malingnant tumors published in Chinese journals between 2010 and 2016,anlysis the existing problems in experiment reports,offer solving ideas,promoting the standardization of animal experiment reports;2.Targetedly conducting animal experiment which is benefical to scientific research and clinial practicing,and providing literature basis for a scientifically reasonable and reliable animal experiment pathological evaluation system.Method: We systematically and comprehensively retrieved data from Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Chinese Journal Full-text Database(CJFD),Chinese Scientific Journal Full-text Database(CSJD)and Wanfang database,dating from January 2010 to December 2016,screened and included literature on transplanted bone tumor animal experiments.Based on ARRIVE guidelines,animal experiment data extraction form were pre-designed,data from the included studies were extracted.Then the retrieved data with SPSS software for statistical analysis was processed,the pathological tests of the included studies were summarized.Results: There were 234 literatures about transplanted bone tumors animal experiments which complied with our standard and were included.For these included literatures,None of them explain the selection basis of the type of animals and models in background introductions;only 3(1.28%)of them mentioned the treatment of experimental animal,none of them explained the algorithm or formula for calculation of sample size;Only 43(18.37%)of them provided complete base line data in their result section;only 30(12.80%)of them evaluted the limit of the research.Most of the included animal experimental designs within 2010-2016 had a small sample size.Transplanted bone tumors animal experiment modelling in China mostly employ in situ(normotopia)transplantation,most of the animal experiments were made with the standardmethod.The detection method of the effictiveness of the modelling method of animal experiment on bone metastasis of tumors and the efficacy of anit-tumor medecines was not complete.Part of the pathological examination and evaluation lacked a clear description of staining and detection process,their detection methods were not complete.Conclusion: 1.Animal experiment on bone tumor transplantation failed to completely report the relative important information in chinese journals.2.The modelling methods of domestic animal experiment on bone metastasis of tumors conforms standards,the testing method of whether the modelling succeed and the efficacy of anti-tumor medecines need further improvement in chinese journals.3.Basing on pathlogical evaluation result of animal experiment on bone metastasis of tumors in chinese journals,the literature basis for the establishment of a scientifically reasonable pathlogical evaluation result was provided.
