Objective By analysed the basic level and distribution of individual dose monitoring for radiation workers in community health care institutions in Laoshan District of Qingdao from 2013 to 2016 and compared the difference between the three types of radiation workers exposed to external exposure dose to understand the current situation of radiation protection in community health care institutions in Laoshan District, optimize the personal protective measures for radiation workers to provide effective basis meanwhile. Methods The radiation workers who worked in Laoshan District community medical institutions during 2013-2016 were chosen to measure their external exposure to personal dose monitoring for the survey. The cycle of regular monitoring is 90 days. The main monitoring means is using Li F(Mg,Cu,P)thermoluminescence personal dosimeter(TLD)as a detector.Thermoluminescence dose meter was applied to measure personal doses received by radiation Workers in occupational exposure in a hospital according to "Individual dose monitoring method for radiation workers(GBZ 128-2002)".Then compared and analyzed the external exposure of personal dose monitoring data of three groups of different radiation workers in the 2013-2016.The data were obtained to establish the database and do statistics analysis by SPSS 19.0.Results During 2013 to 2016,The Individual Dose Monitoring Results of the Laoshan district in Qingdao was 0.143 m Sv/a,which was less than 1m Sv and below the national standard, and at a low level every year stably. The Individual Dose Monitoring Results of three different types radiological workers was 0.083 m Sv/a,0.117 m Sv/a,0.216 m Sv/a.Do statistically analysis on the Monitoring Results,F=6.663,there is statistically significant difference(P=0.017).There is no statistically significant between physicians groups and technicians groups(P>0.05),there is statistically significant between physicians groups and nurses groups also between technicians groups and nurses groups(P<0.05).Conclusion The results collected from four years of continuous monitoring showed that the per capita annual effective dose was lower than 1 m Sv/a and the general status of annua lindividual average dose equivalent of radiological workers Laoshan District was low, which is in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations of the state. The working conditions and environment are basically safe and reliable in accordance with the requirements.Compared and analyzed of three groups of different radiation workers personal dose monitoring data we can see that the radiation diagnosis and treatment of radiation operation technician were the focus of personal dose monitoring in this area. The radiation workers should further strengthen the awareness of radiation protection safety, improve professional skills and reduce the personal radiation dose at work.In the course of radiation protection practice,we should strengthen the personal dose monitoring and protection of key people, strengthen the implementation of relevant laws and regulations and personnel training, strengthen the training of radiation regulations and protection knowledge, improve occupational protection and occupational health awareness, and strive to ensure that radiation workers dose protection of the low level, can effectively reduce the ionizing radiation on the health care workers, has great significance and value.
