BackgroundAt present,the short sound of ABR has been widely used in clinical trial,hearing level and retrocochlear diagnosis provides an objective basis for evaluation by.With the development of audiology.Generally in newborn hearing screening,found that deaf and / or extremely severe hearing loss in children with more and more,the age of children is also more and more small,hearing aid fitting technology,offer a glimmer of hope for the children with residual hearing.But due to the short sound ABR reflects the 2000 Hz ~ 4000Hz[1]hearing level,it can not fully meet the requirements of clinical audiology development nowadays.In clinical practice,obtain considerable residual hearing effectively is very important and urgent,so has the frequency specificity of tone burst ABR(tone burst ABR,tb-ABR)and CE-Chirps sound induced auditory steady-state evoked potentials(CE-Chirp ASSR)study attracted great attention.Because it has the characteristics of objectivity,frequency specificity,high accuracy,and can be used for the diagnosis and evaluation of early hearing loss in infants,wave V threshold they can provide us with 500 Hz ~ 4000 Hz frequency specific.Therefore at present at home and abroad have been widely used.[2-6] based on 100 cases of extremely severe sensorineural hearing loss in infants with CE-Chirp ASSR ABR tone burst was analyzed,and their similarities and differences are observed in order to understand the short sound ABR maximum output under the condition of no response,whether on behalf of the deaf,their response threshold of tone burst ABR and CE-Chirp ASSR of each frequency is there is some relationship between the two response threshold,response threshold will be ABR and CE-Chirp ASSR of the tone burst frequency gives us hints of what? Then we will according to the research data to do a detailed discussion.ObjectivesAnalysing the correlation between tone burst auditory brainstem response(tone burst auditory brainstem response,tb-ABR)and CE-Chirp voice evoked auditory steady-state response(auditory steady-state response,CE-Chirp ASSR)in 100 infants with very severe sensorineural hearing loss.Methods100 infants with very severe sensorineural hearing loss underwent threshold tone burst ABR and CE-Chirp ASSR of the frequency response test,response thresholds were recorded in 0.5,1.0,2.0 and 4.0kHz.Whether there is correlation or not existed between two methods were analysed,SPSS 11 statistical software were used.ResultsTone burst ABR and CE-Chirp ASSR can lead to coefficient between 500~4000Hz response threshold elicited rate were:0.852、0.911、0.870、0.910,P <0.001.The difference of the frequency response threshold test between CE-Chirp ASSR and tone burst ABR were not significant(P>0.05,Chi square)。ConclusionsClick ABR tip very severe sensorineural hearing loss in infants,the tone burst ABR and CE-Chirp ASSR each frequency have different levels of residual hearing,tone burst ABR and CE-Chirp ASSR each frequency response threshold extraction rate have good correlation.There was no significant difference between the ears.
