Objective: To explore the application value of medical three-dimensional(3D)printing and three-dimensional reconstruction in the preoperative assessment of precise hepatectomy.Methods: The clinical data of 6 patients with complex hepatic tumors from January 2016 to December 2016 in the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery,General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were analyzed retrospectively.The patients received 64-slice CT scan before operation to get the thin-layer CT scan data.Three dimensional reconstruction was conducted by the three-dimensional visualization system(MI3DVS).The reconstructed STL format files were imported into a 3D printer,and a 1: 1 liver physical model was printed with resin and gypsum material.Liver model was used to analyze the liver anatomy,preoperative evaluation and preoperative simulation,combined with three-dimensional reconstruction data in the 3D liver model under the guidance of precision liver resection.Results: All patients underwent three-dimensional reconstruction of the liver and 3D-printing of the liver,which could clearly show the anatomical morphology of hepatic vascular system,liver and tumor tissue,the adjacent relationship between tumor and intrahepatic vascular structure,accurate calculation of liver volume and tumor volume.According to the results of three-dimensional reconstruction and 3D liver model,6 patients underwent accurate hepatectomy.The actual surgical procedure was in accordance with the preoperative operation planning(6/6).Simulated resection of the liver volume was significantly associated with actual resection of the liver volume.No death case occurred during the perioperative period and no surgical complications.Conclusion:The medical three-dimensional printing technology can be applied to the operation planning of liver tumor,which has certain guiding significance in the preoperative evaluation of accurate liver resection.
