Objective:Investigate the basic condition of urban general practitioners and Rural doctors in Shanxi Province,understan their level of age,gender,graduate professional hospital,the first record of formal schooling,the highest record of formal schooling,the daily working hours,etc.For our province of the present situation of urban and rural general practitioners latest statistics,for further provide objective basis for general practitioner training work.Methods:Formulate questionnaire to city as the unit for all Rural doctors work in the general practice,after job-transfer training in general medicine and the medical staff of general practitioner qualification obtained basic conditions for the census.Using Excel2003 software to organize the data,conclusion gp and Rural doctors number has the highest percentage of age distribution of gender education situation and related data.Results:All the towns and villages in Shanxi Province in 9933 general practitioners and Rural doctors,men slightly more than women,age distribution in the majority with 40 to50 years old,graduated from the professional with western medicine is given priority to,the first record of formal schooling and the highest degree in secondary majority,participated in gp job-transfer training is low,the proportion of the way to learn about88.62% of the general practitioner for school,the survey of general practitioners in resident,fewer obtain qualifications of medical practitioners,about half of the general practitioner does not exist the phenomenon of overtime,working days in the majority with 7 days a week.Conclusion:Now the number of gp is less in our province,degree is low,the workload is bigger,less participated in the training of personnel,strengthen the continuing education and training general practitioners is imminent.
