The Influence And Application Of MEWS System In Before The Emergency Analyzing TAT

Objective:This study is conducted to research the influence of combination of Modified Early Warning Score(MEWS)and Before the emergency analyzing Turn Around Time(TAT),And in order to improve the efficiency of emergency clinical test results return,to provide basis on order of priority for critically ill patients’ inspection.Methods:This study adopts cluster random sampling method.Before using group was conducted on emergency application form without using the MEWS scoring system in emergency department of a comprehensive hospital of Shanxi in 2016.There were 471 emergency application forms that MEWS scores greater than 4 among all the 2249 emergency application forms.After using group was conducted on emergency application form using the MEWS scoring system in 2017.There were 538 emergency application forms that MEWS scores greater than 4 among all the 640 emergency application forms.SPSS20.0 was used to analyze date and make charts.Two samples were compared using independent samples t test.Multiple samples were compared using one-way ANOVA,and rank-sum Test was used when the variance was not homogeneous.Results:The results showed that the TAT’s average score of emergency application form before using the MEWS system was 973.03 minutes,and that of after using the MEWS system was 136.52 minutes.TAT of the before using group was significantly higher than the after using group(t=-28.009,P<0.001),which showed that the intervention measures were effect.The MEWS’s average score of emergency application form before using the MEWS system was 1.78,and that of after using the MEWS system was 3.9.MEWS of the before using group was significantly lower than the after using group(t=22.755,P<0.001),which showed that the intervention measures were effect.Conclusion:1.The patients could be shunted effectively so as to reduce the score of TAT before emergency by the combination of the emergency apply for the doctor’s advice and MEWS system which can grade the heart rate,systolic blood pressure,breathing rate,body temperature and AVPU(A: aware,V: responses to voice,P: reaction to pain,U:unresponse)of patients.2.It could improve the score of MEWS system of patients who apply for emergency,make emergency more accurate and faster to provide medical services for severe patients,by connecting the MEWS system and emergency apply for the doctor’s advice.3.The innovation of this paper was that managing the emergency apply for the doctor’s advice at first using the score of MEWS system for the first time,by combining score of MEWS system and the TAT of emergency department.
