| ObjectiveThis study analysis the main factors which affecting career planning by the small-scale survey,and explores the relationship between general self-efficacy,career identity and occupation career planning,and builds a system of career planning education for postgraduates in Master of Nursing Specialist(MNS).This research aims at providing the references for the administrators of MNS both at school and hospitals to reform and innovate the training mode,and affords theoretical basis and practical guidance for promoting the growth and development of students.Methods1.From January 2016 to December 2016,by using cross-sectional survey,this study investigates a total of 234 MNS postgraduates with the MNS questionnaire,career cognition questionnaire,career planning scale,professional identity scale and general self-efficacy scale.The data are analyzed by the statistics software of SPSS18.0,and described by the composition ratio,mean and standard deviation.The methods of t test,χ~2 test,Variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and Multivariate stepwise regression are used for statistical analysis.2.Base on the analysis of the literature and the results of the investigations,the draft of the MNS graduate career planning education strategy were prepared by classical career theory and experience.We apply the Delphi method to two screening of the indicators.Then we build the final MNS career planning education strategy.In this study,we selected 21 experts from all over the country of nursing education,nursing management,clinical nurse specialist,career planning,employment guidance and career development and management as the studied objects.Result1.The total score of MNS graduate career planning is(81.59±6.49)points,and the scores from high to low of the dimensions are as follows:correction feedback[2.77],professional knowledge[2.77],development goals[2.75],adaptive ability[2.73],self-cognition[2.69],need motivation[2.68],interpersonal communication[2.68].2.The score of MNS graduate career planning is particularly associated with the factors as follows:marital status,reproductive status,family income per month,during their graduate study direction for research,clinical work experience,Graduate School of nursing professional volunteer selection,the loving of nursing degree,the understanding of the future direction degree,the understanding of MNS degree,no distinguishing between special postgraduate and academic postgraduate,views on the training objectives of the country,the understanding of the theory and method of career planning degree,whether received professional education and guidance in career planning,whether to participate in clinical practice and career planning.These differences are statistically significant.3.The multiple linear regression analysis of NMS graduate career planning finds that the factors of clinical work experience;choice of admission;understand of the future career development of nursing specialty;understand of MNS postgraduates;general self-efficacy and career identity have an impact on the career planning of MNS.4.There is a significant positive correlation between career planning and general self-efficacy,occupational recognition(P<0.01).Conclusion1.The totality level of MNS graduate career planning is moderate.2.There is a large demand for education of MNS graduate career planning,but it has not been met.Nursing specialty colleges and universities should strengthen the education of MNS graduate career planning.3.The MNS graduate career planning education strategy is constructed,which provides the reference for education of the MNS graduate career planning. |
