Priority shall be given to moral education in medical education.” Moral education plays a very important role in guiding,improving and guaranteeing the physical health and mental wellbeing growth of students and the school work.Medical ethics education is the organized,purposeful and planned activities of moral education for medical students and medical staff,mainly focusing on basic theory of medical ethics and medical ethics education.As future front-line clinical nurses,student nurses of secondary vocational schools will shoulder the duties of preventing and treating diseases,healing the sick and saving the dying.Their medical ethics education in combination with their physical and mental conditions and occupational characteristics is directly related to the level of professional ethics of student nurses during their study at school and after their graduation.Good professional ethics plays an important role in performing their duties in the people's physical and mental health services in the future and promoting future development of medical and nursing services in China.In this paper,research is made in three aspects,i.e.the status of medical ethics of student nurses of secondary vocational schools,the student nurses' awareness of and participation in medical ethics education,the status of implementation of medical ethics education;the deficiencies in the medical ethics education;and countermeasures,by taking Yantai Nursing School as an example and by means of literature review,questionnaires,interviews,and statistical analysis.In order to further deeply analyze current student nurses' awareness of medical ethics education,understand the status of and problems existing in the implementation of medical ethics education of the school,and on the basis of the working experience,individual interview and observation,the author designed questionnaires and implemented the investigation,research and analysis with the student nurses of Yantai Nursing School as the respondents.In view of the above-mentioned problems,the reasons are analyzed in four main aspects: the school pays attention to medical ethics education,but the strength and assessment are insufficient;the medical ethics education implementation subject is not extended to the whole school,mainly limitedto moral education teachers and class teachers;the students pay less attention to medical ethics education than to examination scores;the families lack of moral education;the overall quality of medical ethics education implementation subject is uneven.In view of the problems currently existing in medical ethics education of student nurses of secondary vocational schools,the author puts forwards the following countermeasures and suggestions after interviewing student nurses,the nursing departments of the hospitals,teachers,etc.:I.On the school side: Attach more importance to medical ethics education in aspects of course arrangement,teaching contents,curriculum construction,teachers' moral construction,and campus construction.II.On the teacher side: Further strengthen their own medical ethics,and improve traditional directly infusing medical ethics education methods.III.On the parent side: Change the parents' cognitive biases about education,and improve the parents' attention to medical ethics education of the students.IV.On the student side: Give full play to the students' subjective initiative in improving their own medical ethics,and make them actively participate in medical ethics education activities.The innovation of this topic: Analyze professional ethics of student nurses of secondary vocational schools in school,family,hospital and society,integrate theoretical analysis,questionnaires,teacher and hospital interviews,and observation methods,obtain deep understanding of the status of medical ethics education of student nurses of secondary vocational schools,existing problems and causes,bring forward the improvement measures,and particularly emphasize the mobilization of the strength of school,family,society and individual student nurses to jointly participate in professional ethics of student nurses of secondary vocational schools.Empirical study,combined with the author's years of experience in moral education,makes the strategy operationally close to life and close to actual status of the student nurses,so as to provide a valuable reference in respect of moral education for the school and other secondary vocational schools.
