| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Guiqi Tongmai Decoction combined with western medicine(Alprostadil intravenous and aspirin enteric-coated tablets)in the treatment of Arteriosclerosis Occlusion Disease(ASO),and to explore the advantages of the combined therapy efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation and modern medicine.So as to provide a scientific,reasonable and reliable theoretical basis for the application of Guiqi Tongmai Decoction to the treatment of ASO with blood stasis syndrome.Methods: This study selected cases of ASO in accordance with western medicine diagnosis,and the TCM syndrome differentiation was blood stasis type.All of the patients voluntarily accept the test had hospitalize in the peripheral vascular department of Pingdingshan City Hospital of TCM during August 2015 to December 2016.Their ages ranged from 40 to 80 years old and the course of disease was within 5 years.60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in the control group used the western medicine alone(alprostadil intravenous,aspirin enteric-coated tablets);30 cases in the treatment group were treated with Guiqi Tongmai Decoction combining with the western medicine.The duration of treatment was four weeks.After the treatment,the following items were tested,observed and analyzed:(1)symptoms and signs;(2)Detection of blood coagulation function: plasma fibrinogen,thrombin time,prothrombin time and activated partial thromboplastin time;(3)ankle brachial index;(4)The three routine,liver and kidney function tests and electrocardiogram examination.After then,the above data was analyzed by SPSS23.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:(1)Comparison of clinical symptoms and signs: after treatment,the clinical symptoms and signs in all two groups were improved,and the improvement of symptoms and signs(limb pain,soreness,claudication,the decrease of arterial pulse,low temperature of limb,the color changes of limb,dryness of limb,abnormaltongue and pulse condition)in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05);But in the changes of limb numbness and ulceration,there were not significantly different(P > 0.05).(2)Comparison of ABI: after treatment,the ABI of all the patients were significantly improved,and there were statistical differences between the two groups(P < 0.05).(3)Comparison of coagulation function between the two groups: the level of FIB was significantly decreased and TT,PT,APTT were significantly prolonged in the treatment group,and there were statistical differences between the treatment group and the control group(P < 0.05).(4)Comparison of curative effect: the total effective rate of treatment group was 90.0%,that was 83.3% in the control group.The difference of effective rates between the two groups was not statistically significant(P >0.05).(5)Comparison of safety between two groups: the results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment by examining the three routine,liver and kidney function and ECG,there were not significantly different(P > 0.05).Conclusion: In the treatment of ASO,the treatment with the combination of Guiqi Tongmai Decoction and western medicine can effectively relieve the symptoms and signs such as limb pain,soreness,claudicating,the decrease of arterial pulse,low temperature of limb,the color changes of limb,dryness of limb,abnormal tongue and pulse condition,reduce the level of FIB,prolong the TT、PT、APTT and raise the level of ABI.On the improvement of the symptoms of limb numbness and ulceration,the curative effect was equal.At the same time,the two groups met the requirements of safety standards.Guiqi Tongmai Decoction has obvious significance of adjuvant therapy in the treatment of ASO,which was worth of clinical application and promotion. |
