The Research On Emotional Design Of Children’s Hospital Signage System

Children’s hospital,as a special children’s hospital of public places,bears the task ofserving tens of thousands of sick children and parents.As the link between user and children’s medical space,Children’s hospital signage system plays an important role.Actually,the attention paied to emotional design of children’s hospital signage systemis a kind of humanity to children’s hospital medical service system.This research aims to relieve mental pressure when the children see a doctor,improve the efficiency of medical treatment and health care effect.In addition,develop reliant degree of parents and children and make the hospital become more emotional and cultural.Therefore,the study of the subject has a certain practical significance and academic value.First of all,this paper deeply searched and analyzed the background and theory status at home and abroad of the subject.Compared to the shortcomings of the research,it is pointed out that the children’s hospital Signage system not onlyshould have the basic space instruction function,but should have a further concern for the spiritual value and humanistic care.This paper discussed the importance of emotional design of the children’s hospital signage system.Secondly,through the furtherstudyon the theory of emotional design,summarized three emotional experience levels of the children’s hospital signage system and refinedseven emotional design elements.At the same time,from the perspective of main users,the paper analyzed the emotional needs of the three kinds of people—children,parents and the medical staff.Then established the emotional needs model of the user.Finally based on demand of users,summarizedthe emotional design method of the children’s hospital signage system from five aspects.This will be used to guide design practice.On the basis of theoretical research,takethe signage system the children’s hospital in xi’an as an example to carry on the design practice.Through the design research concludedthe problems and determined the goal and positioning of signage system.Then conducted the innovation design of signage system from eight aspectsand evaluated the results of the design.Based on the perspective of mental and humanistic care,put the needs of users as the breakthrough point,particularly concerned about the disadvantaged children emotionalneed.Summed up the method and framework of emotional design of children’s hospital signage system.Add some innovation to the children’s hospital signage system,at the same time provide the reference for the design and implementation of space signage system of other hospitals.
