Objective:To investigate the health literacy,Perceived social support,and quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease,to probe the correlation between coronary heart disease patients' health literacy,Perceived social support and quality of life,and discuss the factors affecting the quality of life of the patients with coronary heart disease for clinical nursing work.Aim to to provide a theoretical basis for develop a comprehensive health education strategy and improve the self-management level and quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease.Methods:This research was a cross-sectional descriptive study of 302 coronary heart disease inpatients in the Department of Cardiology of a three-grade,Grade-A general hospital in Nanchang city.Patients were surveyed by questionnaires,chronic health literacy scales,perceived social support scales(PSSS)and quality of life(SF-36)questionnaires.Descriptive analysis and t-test,sanalysis of variance,correlation analysis,multiple linear regression analysis were all performed using SPSS 17.0 software.Results:1.The total score of health literacy in patients with coronary heart disease was(62.49±10.56)points,and the four dimensions scores were: information acquisition ability was(15.91±8.20),interaction ability was(26.70±6.48),willingness to improve health was(15.62±2.58),willingness of financial support was(4.27 ± 2.17).The total of perceived social support was(67.34±9.82),and the three dimensions scores were: family support was(23.41±3.55),friend support was(21.15± 4.88),and other support was(22.78±3.48).The total score of quality of life was(100.03±15.09).The eight dimensions scores were: Physical Function(PF)was(63.46±30.13),Mental Health(MH)was(62.00±16.95),Vitality(VT)was(60.22±17.18),Bodily Pain(BP)was(58.83±25.29),Social Functioning(SF)was(49.46±18.03),General Health(GH)was(47.12±13.49),Role-Emotional(RE)was(42.49±44.82),Role-Physical(RP)was(40.89±41.66).2.The scores of health literacy of coronary heart disease patients in gender,age,education level,occupation,marital status,living conditions,monthly income,and eating habits were statistically different(P<0.05).Perceived social support was based on gender,age,and education level,occupation,marital status,living conditions,monthly income,eating habits,and family medical history were statistically different(P<0.05).the quality of life was based on gender,age,education level,marital status,hospitaliza-tion payment method,total number of illnesses,monthly income,eating habits,number of hospitalizations,family medical history were statistically different(P<0.05).3.The quality of the life of patients with coronary heart disease was significantly positively correlated with their level of health literacy,the ability to interact and the willingness of improve health.It was significantly positively correlated with perceived social support,family support,friend support,and other support.4.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the number of hospitaliz-ations(regression coefficient is negative),interaction ability(regression coefficient is positive),gender(regression coefficient is negative),other support(regression coefficient is positive)and quality of life has a significant regression effect.That effect had a significant predictive effect on quality of life and explained 31.0% of the variable.Conclusion:1.The health literacy of patients with coronary heart disease is at a low level,and perceived social support and quality of life is at a medium level.Nursing staff must take corresponding measures and formulate health strategies to improve the patients' quality of life and to promote the recovery of patients' diseases.2.Demographic variables :such as gender,age,education level,marital status,monthly income,eating habits have a certain influence on the patients with coronary heart disease's health literacy,perceived social support ability and quality of life.3.There is a positive correlation between health literacy and perceived social support and quality of life in patients with coronary heart disease.Among them,interaction have a certain predictive and other support(relatives,colleagues,etc.)effect on the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease.Nursing staff should assist in establishing social support systems and self-management awareness for patients with coronary heart disease to improve the patients' quality of life.
