The Study Of Rounded Quantifiers Oriented To Teaching Chinese As A Second Language

Quantifier is an important and distinctive grammatical feature of Sino-Tibetan language. At present the Chinese academia focuses more on the overall research of quantifier, but less on the internal classifications of the quantifier, such as the rounded quantifiers. From the perspective of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, this article took the rounded quantifiers as the research object, collecting the errors made by students in the HSK dynamic corpus, which determined the thesis research direction. And this article analyzed 16 rounded quantifiers by means of data statistics and comparative analysis. Hope the research will help the researching and teaching of the rounded quantifiers in the future.This article is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction; the second part is the definition of rounded quantifiers and its cognitive semantic analysis; the third part is the analysis of the syntactic function of cone quantifiers and superimposed, the fourth part is the quantifiers colors analysis; the fifth part is the summary of the above.Starting from the definition of rounded quantifiers, the second part of the paper firstly defined and validated the objects of the research, then selected 16 rounded quantifiers, and divided them into five categories: round dot, round ring, cylindrical, round surface, round ball. Then we counted up the nouns accompanied with each rounded quantifier in modern Chinese corpus of Peking University, and compared and tabulated the statistics. According to the graph, we can easily find out the abilities of each round quantifier accompanying with different kinds of nouns.The third part of the thesis is based on the statistics in modern Chinese corpus of Peking University. We sorted out the quantities of different quantifiers and their reduplications using as different syntactic constituents in sentences, and demonstrated the results in the forms of pie charts and histograms.Combined with the examples, the fourth part of the paper analyzed the emotional color, the color of the type of writing and vivid color. And it summed up the terms of different color meanings of the rounded quantifiers.The fifth part is the summary of the paper, summarizing the research emphasis and pointing out the shortage of this research.
