Campus slogans as an important part of cultural construction in campus are more and more important and valuable for internal scholars.All parts of campus culture environment provide a place for students to form all kinds of emotions,and campus slogans as a kind of culture environment play an important role in students'emotions,especially the important effect of campus slogans connected with academic on academic emotions.Campus slogans affects the formation and development of students5 cognition,affection,will and behavior,they takes an important role in students' mental and physical development as well.Most of recent researches on campus slogans are explored from linguistics and education.It's lack of researches on campus slogans which are explored from psychology.This article explored campus slogans which are related to academic achievement,and we divide academic campus slogans into encouraging and warning slogans.The article which has theoretical and practical significance to some extent,connects campus slogans with academic emotions,using affective priming procedure,discusses the influence of campus slogans on students' cognition and academic emotions.This article consists of two sub-experiments:The first one explores the affective priming of academic emotions with academic campus slogans on senior high school students,with the use of the classic affective priming paradigm.The experiment used 2(prime valence)×2(target valence)within-subject experimental design.Academic campus slogans used as prime valence conclude two valences:positive and negative,and targets also conclude two valences:positive and negative.The average response time of the target judgment is used as the dependent variable indicator.The second experiment is a further study on the basis of experiment 1.It explores the influence of academic campus slogans on academic emotions and self-efficacy.The experiment used one-way between-subject design.Academic campus slogans as the independent variable concludes two levels:encouraging and warning slogans.Emotion rate and self-efficacy rate are used as the dependent variable indicator.And content analysis and grounded theory were used to analyze the effect of campus slogans on students' academic emotions and cognition.The results of experiment showed that:(1)The affective priming effect were found in academic campus slogan for senior high school students.(2)The similar affective priming effect was found in different gender and different grades,which indicated this affective priming exists in general.(3)Academic campus slogans can influence students' emotions and cognition.Encouraging slogans can reduce the negative academic emotions,and improve the positive academic emotions,while the effect of warning slogans on negative academic emotions is not significant statistically.Encouraging slogans can improve the self-efficacy of students,arouse their positive points of view,and facilitate them to take positive coping behaviors.
