| Lao students who go to study chinese in Confucius Institute attach great importance to learning Chinese,their motives are relatively clear.Because of the limited learning time and incorrect learning methods,the students have encountered many difficulties in the process of learning Chinese characters.Taking the fourth semester students of Confucius Institute of National University of Laos as the research object,applying to the literature research method,observation method and communication method,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,analyzing combined with Chinese characters strokes’ characteristics,put forward to the suggestions of teaching Lao students Chinese characters.Lao students make many mistakes in the number of strokes,stroke relation,stroke forms,stroke order and so on.The large number of strokes of Chinese characters and the writing complexity,the influence of students’ native language and incorrect learning attitude and method,that teachers do not pay enough attention to teaching Chinese characters and inappropriate teaching methods,the lack of teaching conditions in Confucius Institute are important reasons for students’ writing errors of Chinese characters.In order to improve the students’ learning level,we should take the students as the basis,follow the teaching principles that“briefly explain and practise more”,“combine the new with the old,comprehensive input” and “teach students in accordance with their aptitude”;according to the statistical analysis of Chinese characters writing,teach Chinese characters based on strokes,combine the strokes,components and Chinese characters,at the same time,link the shape,pronunciation and meaning in teaching;strengthen the Chinese characters practice in the process of teaching,to speak with practice;combine Chinese characters game teaching,increase Chinese characters teaching interest;starting from the actual learning situation of students,correct the students’ learning attitude;improve the Chinese teachers’ teaching ability and combining the teaching situation of Confucius Institute,improve the teaching conditions. |
