A Study Of The Documents In Dynasty Substitution

Since Dynasty Han and Wei,Shanrang articles were used in dynasty substitution.They had style elegant.They were called the great writings.This paper use the analysis of the methods of academic history to summarize the changes of Shanrang system;Shanrang articals and opinions on them.The reason of deviation on opinions between its zenith and later ages is related to the arguments between parallel writings and irregular writings,and also related to the "legitimate theory".This paper emphasis that Shanrang articles was no longer used after Dynasty Song,but they played an important role in the political discourse in Dynasty Song,the Abdication in Southern Song Dynasty,the legitimate theory between the Yuan dynasty and the Ming,and the Xuantong Emperor's abdication.This paper analyzes the three types of the imperial edicts in dynasty substitution by stylistic theory.It seemed that they repeated each other,but each of them has different functions and completes different tasks,which made them different characteristics in language style.Zhao represented legal institutions,and passed the public connotation of monarch.Ce was the formal document which passed the solemn and sacred connotation of monarch.Xishu was the private document,in which emperor expressed his personal opinion,and it passed the private connotation of monarch.This paper makes a concrete analysis the writing characteristics in shanrang articals and reveals they has four features "revering the classics","using allusion","parallel style" and "Truthfulness".In the process of writing the Shanrang,writers had certain writing strategies.Through quantitative analysis,this paper compared Fuliang's article and Ren Fang's,and draw the conclusion that the two had a difference.The later reduced the using of function words.Through the analysis of the use of function words in both theory and practice in parallel writings and irregular writings,and combined with Liu Dakui,Fang Dongshu,Sun Deqian,Liu Shipei's points of view,this paper analyzes the the quantitative result.Though the differences between the documents writing by Fu Liang and the later ones,this paper comments these four literary critics' viewpoints.
