| This paper has collected 31 engraved bronzes mainly from Yu(夨)State which are on record,and the content of the bronzes as well as corresponding historical issues have been sorted.It can be concluded from the engraved bronzes that Yu(夨)State may have been existing since the early Zhou period.and lasted until the Warring States period.The paper is organized as follows: Introduction part.To summarize the historical and cultural issues reflected on bronzes with the inscriptions.The range and significance of subjects,the structure of this paper as well as corresponding statements are attached to the end of the paper.The written materials and archaeological materials with the inscriptions of Yu(夨)are introduced in detail in Chapter One.The second chapter re-combs and discusses several important historical problems discussed in the past.This chapter includes questions left over from previous studies,including interpretation of characteristics,geographical location,clan names,and so on.The appendix contains the collation of bronze inscriptions which are related to Yu(夨)State possible.It also includes the collection of bibliographies and abbreviations of resources,and the comparison table between various bronze materials of Yu(夨)State in Zhou period and the materials in this paper as well as the engraved bronze chronology of Yu(夨)state are listed in Appendix. |
