Chen Qigang is a famous Chinese composer in France,creating many music works to make the world have a better understanding of Chinese music and culture.?Reflet D'un Temps Disparu?was a cello concerto created in 1995 due to entrust from French National Symphony Orchestra,as one of Chen Qigang's mid-term representative works.From the analysis of the work's pitch organization,we can find his works' characteristics in the 1990s.In?Reflet D'un Temps Disparu?the melody of the Guqin song-Three Variations on the Plum runs through the whole work,and the traditional Chinese five—voice elements play a very important role in the work.In the paper,the author studies composition techniques of?fReflet D'un Temps Disparu?,mainly including the pitch organization.Centering on the pitch organization,the author analyzes,refines,summarizes and concludes the work.And then,taking the pitch organization as the starting point,the author analyzes the work's melody and tonality,and concludes its music language characteristics.The paper is divided into five chapters.Introduction:mainly aiming at the research origin,the author makes an elaboration on domestic and foreign research situation as well as the topic's reasons and significance.The first chapter:the author mainly discusses Chen Qigang's creation background,growth environment and work analyzed in the paper.The second chapter:the author conducts a more comprehensive analysis of its melody.Chen Qigang classifies,concludes and summarizes various applications of the theme melody of Three Variations on the Plum in?Reflet D'un Temps Disparu?.The third chapter:the author conducts a more comprehensive analysis of the pitch organization,classifies and analyzes the pitch organization in the work,and further refines its characteristics.The fourth chapter:the mode and the tonality are mainly analyzed.The author observes the mode and the tonality from their layout of the whole work at a macroscopic level to their vertical and horizontal use at a microscopic level.The fifth chapter:a brief analysis is conducted for other musical elements of the work from the voice register,tone color,beat and other aspects,leading to a more comprehensive understanding of this work.Conclusion:the second chapter-pitch organization research is comprehensively summarized and concluded.Also,the author refines the work's melody,mode,tonality,voice register,tune color and texture,so as to summarize characteristics of the whole work more comprehensively in more detail.
