Chen Qigang is one of the famous contemporary composers.His music has gentle tunes and unique style.The main feature of his works is the combination of Chinese traditional music elements and modern composition techniques,which has made positive dissemination and promotion for Chinese culture and national music.? Reflet D'un Teemos Disparu ? is a cello concerto,the theme motivation of which comes from the ancient song ?Plum-blossom in Three Movements?.The pentatonic musical language is reflected everywhere in the music.The combination with modern techniques combines the musical characteristics of the music.This "national" element is exactly the musical creation style of Mr.Chen Qigang.This paper studies from the perspective of creative techniques.The main body consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction of composers and works,including an overview of Chen Qigang and his music creation,as well as the creation background and works of this song.The second chapter analyzes the expression of ancient music elements in the works,mainly from the musical elements,structure and mode of ancient music in the ?Reflet D'un Teemos Disparu?.The third chapter analyzes the techniques of the works,mainly from the aspects of pitch material,harmony structure and polyphony application.The fourth chapter analyzes the orchestration of the works,mainly from the aspects of band composition,special performance techniques,band layout and texture.Through the study of Mr.Chen Qigang's cello concerto ?Reflet D'un Teemos Disparu?,this article has great enlightenment on the creation of the combination of traditional music materials and modern composition techniques.
