Feminism Translation Theory has started drawing the attention of the public even since cultural turn has brought great influence on translation theories and its practice. This theory is based on the feminism movement and it emphasizes the subjectivity of translators, especially for the feminist translators, it has totally subverted the translation methods and expressions of feminist translators in traditional translation theories. Thus, in the study of translators'subjectivity, feminism translation theory denies the absolute authority about the original text, emphasizes the same status about the original text and translated text while promoting the status of translations, and the meaning of faithfulness in traditional way has changed. Feminist translation theory maintains that faithfulness does not mean being consistent with the original text or the author, nor does it mean having the same reading experience as readers. Rather, translators should keep faithful to their own thinking and deep thought of the authors through the proper rewriting to the original text during the process of translation. The writing projects from feminist translators contains both the authors and translators, which asserts that the feminist translators have the right to create and rewrite the original text. Under this background, the translator's subjectivity has been brought into full play, and the status of translators'subjectivity has been paid more attention than ever before. The study of the translator's subjectivity has drawn so much attention in the translation study field both domestically and abroad. Some scholars have focused on the concept of translator's subjectivity and the improved status of translators,as well as and rethought the important guiding role of translator's subjectivity to the translation researches and practice. Thus, translation becomes the final result of multiple dimensions in translation. As the main practice theory in translator's subjectivity, Feminism Translation Theory profoundly reflects the translator's influence and positive effect as an important factor in the process of translation.Charlotte is a famous American writer, famous feminist, critic and social activist.Herlands was wrote by Charlotte Perkins Gilman in 1915, s in which the social ideology in patriarchal society was questioned and overthrown through the interaction between the women in herland and three men who found herland by mistake. The thesis will explore the hidden translators' subjectivity under feminism translation theory through Herland, the representative work of the leader of American feminism movement,Gilman. Furthermore, this thesis will probe into the approaches to the realization of translator's subjectivity in herland by analyzing the three translation methods of feminist translation theory in combination with the translator's transformation among different dimensions.
