The Decoration Forms And Singing Skills Of Xinyang Folk Songs In Henan

Xinyang folk songs in Henan have a long history and profound cultural heritage.Their decoration and singing forms are rich and distinctive.In a way,its decoration forms which are the spirit of Xinyang folk songs express the regional music style characteristic vividly.This paper describes the most unique decoration forms of Xinyang folk songs by starting with the origin of Xinyang folk songs and basing on the perspective of decoration forms.A great number of examples are used to analyze and illustrate the singing skills of Xinyang folk songs.There are three sections in this paper:The first section: Regional characteristic.Two subsections are included in the first section.The first subsection describes the history,cultural customs,and inheritance of Xinyang folk songs.Then,the second subsection discusses regional characteristic basing on its melodic features and local dialect.The second section: Characteristic of the decoration forms.Three subsections are included in the section.The first subsection presents the concept of the decoration.Then,the second subsection analyzes the decoration forms of Xinyang folk songs.the final subsection discusses the function of the decoration forms of Xinyang folk songs.The third section: Singing treatment of Xinyang folk songs.The section describes singing skills basing on the decoration forms of Xinyang folk songs.Two subsections are included in this section.Firstly,the singing skills of the decoration of pitch form are presented.Then,the singing skills of the decoration of singing form are presented.
