The advent of "Internet +" has pushed Chinese learning into the era of mobile learning combined with modern mobile education technologies.In recent years,Chinese learning APPs have developed rapidly in both quantity and quality,which open up a new model for Chinese learners' autonomous learning.For intermediate-level Chinese learners,they have completed the initial stage of learning,and rapidly expanding their vocabulary has become the key to raising their Chinese proficiency.Based on the applications of Chinese learning apps in Chinese L2 learner's vocabulary self-learning process,this paper explores how to improve the efficiency of vocabulary learning with APPs more efficiently,quickly expand the available vocabularies of intermediate learners and explore a vocabulary-based learning new methods to improve the efficiency of autonomous learning of vocabulary in the era of "Internet + Education" and meet the continuously updated requirements of Chinese autonomous learning.After consulting a large number of related literature about autonomous learning and mobile learning,this study investigates the Chinese middle-level learners at Shanghai International Studies University using questionnaires and in-depth interviews,and finds that:(1)intermediate learners pay more attention to vocabulary(2)common APPs types and commonly used functions are relatively simple,mainly translation dictionary APPs and their query function;(3)intermediate learners have high demand for pinyin phonetic notation and standard pronunciation of APP;(4)native language interpretation,ease of use and rich learning resources are the main reasons why learners choose such APPs;(5)it is generally recognized that vocabulary learning APPs are helpful for autonomous learning.On this basis,this study uses the SWOT analysis method to analyze the survey results,puts forward suggestions for the use of vocabulary learning apps suitable for intermediate learners,advises that teachers to use learning apps which can assist teaching and recommends which improve vocabulary learning APPs content and function.
