The Application Of Hierarchy Of Needs Theory In Public Security Ideological And Political Work

Public security ideological and political work is the lifeline of public security and security team building,and is an important part of the Party's ideological and political work.In order to cope with the diversified value orientation and complicated social environment in the new era,we should do a good job in ideological and political work.It is important to advance the working methods and ways to improve the effectiveness,give full play to the strong cohesion and combat effectiveness of the public security team and achieve the Coordinated and Sustainable Development of Public Security Work,so as to fulfill the historical mission delivered by the Party and the people.Public security ideological and political is a moral work.It is a work that can realize thetransformation of human mind based on the full understanding of the subjective initiative.As an important theory of psychology,Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory can make up for the problems ofthe driving force and enhance the subjective initiative ontaking part in and accepting the public security ideological and political work of grassroots public security police.Therefore,this thesis analyzes the current situation of the public security police at the grassroots level from the perspective of Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,and puts forward the methods and ways of ideological and political work under the guidance of the hierarchy of need theory.Aim to enhance the effectiveness of public security ideological and political work,in order to cultivate the overall quality of the police,exert theenthusiasm and initiative of the police which ultimately promote the comprehensive development of public security undertakings.This thesis is divided into the following five chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the purpose and significance of this paper,the research status quo at home and abroad,as well as research ideas and methods and innovation points;The second chapter mainly elaborates the concepts related to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory,including the definition and characteristicsand main content of hierarchy of needs theory.This chapter also discusses the necessity and feasibility of applying hierarchy of need theory to ideological and political work;The third chapter summarizes the general situation of ideological and political work at the grassroots level,analyzes the existing problems and causes when hierarchy of needstheory applied to the ideological and political work of public security;The fourth chapter takes the survey data of the public security organs of S Regions,which is a typical example of the Midwestto study the basic situation of police needs at the grassroots level.The chapter aimed to detect the influence and satisfaction degree of each demand level on the effectiveness of public security ideological and political work through the correlation and regression analysis;The fifth chapter,based on the results of this research,placesemphases on reasonable treatment and accurate grasp of the demand of police,and puts forward five approaches to elaborate Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory which is the guide line for ideological and political work of public security.The five approaches are: implementation of preferential treatment,the protection of law enforcement rights,the construction of police camp,the establishment of police image,the development of police and public security.
