PurposeThe basic skill of dance is the foundation and core of learning dance.Practice of simple repetition easily make children feel dull.While teaching of Flash Animation combines music,sound effect,animation,and fresh creative interface together.Compared to traditional “ Oral Instruction and Demonstration”,flash animation features diversity and interest,and it satisfy the characteristics of cognition development of children,and it is easily accepted by children,so it is likely to enhance children interest of learning dance.Based on the physical and psychological characteristics of the children between 7 to 9 years old,the flash animation on basic skill of dance was developed and applied to the actual teaching,Through which,this study will prove whether flash animation is more effective than traditional dance teaching in the aspect of basic skill of dance and whether it can arouse children interest and intention of learning dance.Method:The study was based on freshmen of two interest classes aged from 7-9 years old in Yi-qun primary school.Each Class has 30 students and they are all girls.They are randomly divided into experimental classes(group)and control classes(group).Teaching experiment has a duration of 12 weeks,and 24 lessons total,2 lessons a week and 60 min each lesson.The questionnaire(Dance knowledge questionnaire,learning motivation survey,and students confidence questionnaire)and dance basic skills test are issued for the first time before experimental intervention(pre-experiment),the questionnaire and test are issued at the fifth week(in experimenting),and the third questionnaire and test are done at the twelfth week(post-experiment).The content of second and third questionnaire and test are in accordance with the first time,and finally date analysis on collected data is made.Result:1.Both the experimental group and the control group,the results of the dance knowledge and the performance of the dance were significantly improved(p <0.05),but the experimental motivation level in the experimental group was significantly higher than that before the experiment,there was a significant increase in the level of learning motivation in the control group was not obvious.2.Compared with the control group,the dance knowledge and performance,the learning motivation and the students' self-confidence was significantly improved at the 5th week and the 12 th week(p <0.05)compared with the control group.3.There is a significant positive correlation between the skill level and the learning motivation level and the students' self-confidence(r = 0.779,p <0.01;r = 0.744,p <0.01).Conclusion:Flash Animation Teaching can efficiently improve basic skills of dance,basic knowledge of dance,learning motivation and students self-confidence of aged 7-9children.The teaching effect is prior to the traditional dance teaching,which may be related to the improvement of students' learning motivation and self-confidence in Flash animation.
