Experimental Clothing And New Material Design And Application Research

At present, fashion design is undergoing a profound change, a new and unknown situation coming. Designers all over the world face the inevitable problems of this era - population growth, environmental climate, resource allocation, the eastern and western cultural and religious conflicts and so on. Where is the future of fashion design? The new fashion system is being conceived, and it is inevitable for the new generation of designers to experimentally explore the design, which is also extremely important.The thesis is to discuss the future and possibility of fashion design taking the contemporary fashion design as the research object, to analyze the value significance of the contemporary fashion design from four aspects including physical property, concept, technique and openness through the analysis on the connotation and reform of contemporary design as well as the creations on the contemporary design of domestic and international designers. The exploration of new materials has great influence on the future development on the basis of theoretical model of contemporary design and the author’s creative practice.In terms of the researches of contemporary fashion design, this paper is to analyze several cases where the design subject changes the design itself based on the material development or the reference of another subject’s material, constructing a new design thinking to explore the possibility of combining traditional technology, new material with new technology based on this thinking model.In respect of the application of brands, the contemporary design conducts a core analysis on the representative brands at home and abroad,demonstrating the core value of contemporary fashion design combined with the current situation of domestic fashion design through three specific cases.At the end of the study, the meaning of the contemporary design will be further interpreted to display the research of new materials in the contemporary design based on the author’s creation practice cases on new material for many years. The graduation design from undergraduate to postgraduate will be analyzed, including the author’s creative motivation,social public opinion and the industry recognition.As a new field in the present era, contemporary design is a prospective research field. In the future development of the society,fashion designers need develop their own sensitivity, with a broader design thinking and exploratory thinking ability, to consider the coming design field from a variety of perspectives.
