Objective:Based on the metabonomics to explore the different between deficiency cold syndrome and deficiency heat syndrome of asthma chronic duration.To search the potential biomarkers that could distinguish the asthma phenotypes.Method:we enrolled thirty subjects(ten deficiency cold syndrome?ten deficiency heat syndrome and ten healthy volunteers).Collected serum store at-80 ? refrigerator.Combined multidimensional analysis(O)PLS-DA and one-dimensional analysis(t test)to filtrate the group difference metabolites(VIP>1,p<0.05)by GC-MS analysis.Then continue the KEGG pathways analysis.Result:we found 40 difference metabolites between asthma and healthy control,and 18 metabolites different from cold and heat syndrome.Totally,four significantly metabolites were found to describe the asthma phenotypes,such as tetracosane?4-aminobutyric acid?Benzoylformic acid?Allo-inositol.KEGG pathway analysis found that beta-alanine metabolism disturbances.Conclusion:1?The metabolites are significantly different between asthma patients compared with healthy control group.2?The metabolites of deficiency cold and heat syndrome are significantly different.3?4-aminobutyric acid could be the potential biomarkers to distinguish deficiency cold syndrome from deficiency heat syndrome of asthma patients.4?Beta-alanine metabolism disturbanced between deficiency cold syndrome and deficiency heat syndrome.
