Purpose: To observe the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with swallowing function training on dysphagia after stroke.Materials and methods: This study was from March 2016 to December 2016.We screened out 72 patients diagnosed by the diagnostic criteria of TCM and Western Medicine(pseudobulbar palsy)diagnostic criteriafrom Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of rehabilitation center of brain K1.The patients were divided into treatment group 36 cases and control group 36 cases by random number table,without shedding cases.The two groups were given the same routine treatment,the treatment group was treated with acupuncture combined with swallowing dysfunction rehabilitation training,while the control group was only treated with swallowing dysfunction rehabilitation training.The course of treatment was 30 days.The therapeutic effect was evaluated by using the field drinking water test and the patient satisfaction score.Result: 1.On the clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.11%,the total effective rate of the control group was 75%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).2.On the satisfaction of patients,the satisfaction score of the experimental group was 8.32 ±1.64,and the score of the treatment group was 6.01 ± 1.35,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The curative effect of acupuncture combined with swallowing function training is better than that of single swallowing function training.Moreover,acupuncture is simple,economical and practical,which not only helps to improve the satisfaction of patients in clinical treatment,but also makes it easier for primary hospitals to promote the study.
