| Purpose:To investigate the curative effect of the manual lymph drainage therapy(Complex Decongestion Therapy, and CDT)and its effect on quality of life in treating gynecological malignant tumor with unilateral lower limb lymphedema after radical resection。 Material and method:Since 2016,42 patients with unilateral lower extremity lymph edema caused by malignant tumor were treated after radical resection, including 24 cases of endometrial carcinoma,8 cases of cervical carcinoma and 10 cases of ovarian cancer with rectal cancer after operation. The patients were divided into 3 groups according to the difference of the circumference of the lower limb of the affected side: mild group(n = 18),moderate group(n = 14)and severe group(n = 10).All patients were treated with CDT once a day,for a period of 20 days,a total of 2 cycles of treatment, and and ask the same a doctor or nurse to use the same specificational tape for measuring by CDT before and after treatment of limb circumference to observe effect.。 Results: 1.After 2 cycles of CDT treatment, all patients with lower extremity edema were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05)。 2.Observation on the treatment of patients were followed up for 1 years without recurrence. In the 3 groups, the extent of lymphedema in moderate and severe edema group was significantly lower than that in mild edema group, and severe edema group was the most obvious.。 3.The quality of life indicators of all patients after treatment were higher than before treatment(P<0.05)。 Conclusion: 1.CDT is a safe and effective treatment of postoperative lower limb lymphedema in malignant tumor, and can maintain long-term therapeutic effect。 2.CDT is suitable for all patients with secondary lymphedema after surgery, including severe lymphedema。 3.CDT can improve the quality of life in patients with lower limb lymphedema。... |
