Objection: To analyse the type of pathogenic strains in the urinary tract infection and characteristics of drug resistance in the people’s hospital of Pingyi county, and to provide experimental evidence for clinical rational use of antibiotics to prevent infection.Materials and methods:We Collected the urine samples from clinical departments rom the January to December of 2015,isolated and cultured bacterium by conventional methods, then identified bacterium and did susceptibility testing by using SIEMENS automicroscan microbial identification system,K-B method and MIC method. The results of drug sensitive test criteria according to the 2014 edition of the American clinical laboratory the Standardization Research Institute(CLSI)criteria. Results: 400 strains pathogens were detected in 1727 urine samples, including 385 strains gram negative bacteria, accounting for 96.25%,15 strains gram positive bacteria which accounted for 3.75%.The major pathogens were Escherichia coli(68%),Klebsiella pneumoniae(11%),Proteus mirabilis(4%),1 Enterobacter cloacae(3%)and Enterococcus faecium(1%).Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumonia,Proteus mirabilis,Enterobacter cloacae and Enterococcus faecium were resistant to ampicillin, piperacillin and cefazolin Conclusion: The gram negative bacteria were the main bacteria in urinary system infection in our hospital.Higher resistance rates of pathogenic strains prompt us to strengthen monitoring of susceptibility and guide rational drug use.
