Meta-analysis And Safety Evaluation Of Clinical Efficacy Of Traditional Chinese Medicine For Allergic Rhinitis

Purpose:To evaluate the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine therapy for allergic rhinitis by using evidence-based medicine system,and to provide evidence for clinical use.Material and method:Chinese literature search Chinese Knowledge Network(CNKI),Chongqing Wei Pu Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP),Wanfang Data(Wanfang Data),foreign literature search Pub Med and Cochrane Library database,collected from 1989 to February 2017 Related literature,preliminary access may be in line with the literature required for this study.Screening and removal of duplicate literature in the database using Note Express,screening literature by reading the title of the literature and abstracting the literature that was clearly unrelated to this study.Through the reading of the full text,according to the inclusion criteria,the exclusion criteria for the inclusion of the second screening,the final access to meet the conditions of this study of Chinese medicine treatment of allergic rhinitis randomized controlled trials of literature,and its data extraction.The quality of the literature was evaluated by Cochrance reviews Handhook 5.1.0.Meta-analysis was performed using Rev Man 5.3 statistical software.Statistical data were analyzed by heterogeneity test,sensitivity analysis and funnel graph analysis.If the clinical heterogeneity Large,only qualitative analysis,the systematic evaluation of traditional Chinese medicine therapy for allergic rhinitis effect.Conclusion:A total of 63 randomized controlled trials were conducted.The total sample size was 5602 cases,2857 cases in the experimental group and 2745 cases in the control group.The overall quality of the literature was not high.Meta analysis showed that the efficacy of Chinese medicine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis was positive in patients with allergic rhinitis in improving nasal symptoms,total efficiency,laboratory indicators and quality of life,and studies have shown that Chinese medicine treats allergies The initial effect of nasopharyngeal attack is less than antihistamines,but the long-term efficacy of allergic rhinitis is stable,and avoid the side effects of antihistamines.Combine traditional Chinese and western medicine curative effect is significantly superior to pure western medicine treatment,the differences are obvious statistical significance.Conclusion: Traditional Chinese medicine therapy is a very important "supplementary and alternative therapy",especially for the treatment of allergic rhinitis,can be used as a safe and effective treatment for allergic rhinitis.However,due to the low quality of the literature,most of the studies are small sample studies,and therefore require a large number of high-quality,multi-center RCT to further confirm,to provide a more reliable basis for clinical research.
