It is an ordinary phenomenon that creating new words by metonymy in Chinese,so there are rich achievements in the field of ontology research.However,the application in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has not obtained enough attention.In this paper,the author will research noun metonymy words in "the outline of HSK Vocabulary Level Glossary","Modern Chinese Dictionary" and Chinese as a foreign language Textbooks by survey,induction and deduction method.The author will use the semantic structure analysis method and its logic graphic to make specific analysis of the collected metonymy words and explore the semantic logic mechanism of metonymy formation.This article introduces metonymy to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,designs the teaching method from the angle of the word formation and to make students not only learn,but also know the reason,deepening their understanding of metonymy words and making them be able to infer other things based on the logic mechanism of metonymy formation.The thesis is divided into six parts.The first part is introduction,including five aspects,the significance and value of the topic,literature review,the innovation of the paper,the scope of research object and research methods.The second part is theoretical method of this research.This thesis reveals the semantic logic mechanism under the precondition of mastering the Structure analysis method and understanding the value of its methodological.In other words: create new words by extracting some of the qualities of the object characteristics and adopting its corresponding morphemes.The third part is the specific analysis of the basic situation about metonymy words in "the outline of HSK vocabulary level glossary","modern Chinese dictionary",and the textbooks.Under the theory of the semantic structure analysis and its logical schema,first,the author will summarize the words created by metonymy in the outline,dictionary and teaching,and then conduct concreteanalysis though logic mechanism of metonymy or schema.Finally,classify Loanwords according to their attributes.The fourth part is the core of this paper.The author will use the method of semantic structure analysis and logical schema to design the vocabulary teachingmethod,such as specific map direction positioning method,physical picture demonstration method,word logic theories method,the attribute classification method,historical allusions interpretation method and scale accumulation method.The fifth part is the lesson plan design.Only put the design of teaching method into practice,can it prove the feasibility of teaching methods.The sixth is conclusion.It summarizes the research results of this thesis,and prospects the development trend of metonymy words in the future.
