| The continuous development of modern management, organizational behavior and other disciplines make the research of the relationship between leadership style and occupational psychological condition and employee turnover intention continued to be deeper, leader’s usual pattern of behavior, cognition, attitudes, and other class status will influence employees’ psychological and corresponding behavior variables.According to zhaopin the workplace turnout survey in 2013, over 60% had job turnover experience,35% did not move, but there are high levels of turnover intention. Investigating the cause of departure, the top three factors as:to seek a bigger space, better treatment and discontent of the style of leadership.In this paper, the open questionnaire and results reveal that the irrational leadership style is one of the most important factors of turnover intention in occupational field except the pay levels.In terms of existing theoretical research, downlink transmission effect of the leadership style has attracted more and more attention, but most of them focused on the exploration of effectiveness of the leadership, the study of negative leadership style is relatively absent, and also the theoretical and empirical study of mechanism between them are from social exchange, social comparison, social identity perspective, the social psychological perspective to explore the relationship between negative leadership style and employee behavior and attitude variables are still deficiencies.From a social psychological perspective, this paper introduces the concept learned helplessness to the career field, interpretate the generation mechanism of emotional exhaustion of the employees due to uncontrollable factors in working place, especially the self-awareness irrational leadership level. Through professional learned helplessness questionnaire analyse the relationship between irrational leadership style, occupational learned helplessness and turnout intention, to explore the effection of irrational leadership style on employees’ psychological, verify the intermediary role of employees’ psychological change in the relationship between negative leadership style and employee variable.Besides, in consideration of the importance and the particular physical and mental development of the new generation employees, the paper choose them to be the research object,through the issuance of questionnaires and data processing,come to the conclusions as follows:(1) occupational learned helplessness including four dimensions:emotion, cognition, behavior and motivation helplessness.(2) occupational learned helplessness is common among the new generation employees, but stay in the medium level, there are significant differences in the demographic variable of organization nature, and there are no significant differences in gender, pay levels.(3) the irrational leadership style and the new generation employees occupational learned helplessness and turnout intention have significant positive correlation, namely the higher the irrational leadership style employees perceive, the higher level of occupational learned helplessness and quit intention the employees feel.(4) the new generation employees’ occupational learned helplessness play a completely mediating role in the relation between irrational leadership styles and turnout intention, the emotional and cognitive helplessness’intermediary effect is remarkable. |
