Qinshui county is a part of Jincheng,which is located in the southeast of Shanxi Province.This paper describes and interprets the characteristics of Qinshui dialect through field investigation,description and interpretation,synchronic and diachronic comparison,phonological generalization and monographic study.The full text is divided into seven parts,the content of each chapter is summarized as follows:The first part is the introduction.This chapter mainly introduces the geography,population,history of Qinshui country;the general situation and research of Qinshui county dialect;the purpose and significance of the research;the scope of the object of research and material sources,research methods;information about local people who accept the investigation of Qinshui dialect.Through the above several aspects of introduction,analysing the general situation of Qinshui county dialect and the feasibility of the research.The second part is the phonetic system research of the east part.Including the initials,finals,tone of voice and the cooperative relationship between initials,finals and tone of voice.There are 23 initials(including zero initial),39 finals in the east part of Qinshui dialect.Tone is divided into six category,including level tone,rising tone,the rising tone,falling tone,the entering tone of Yin and Yang,and the tone value respectively is 22,24,31,53,?2,?34.This chapter shows the characteristics of the initials,finals and tones in the east part of Qinshui dialect,analyzing the cooperation relations of initials,finals and tones in the east part of Qinshui dialect by the form of tables.The third part is the phonetic system research of the west part.Including the initials,finals,tone of voice and the cooperative relationship between initials,finals and tone of voice.There are 24 initials(including zero initial),33 finals in the west part of Qinshui dialect.Tone category(not including the weak syllable)is divided into four category,including31,13,44,52.This chapter displays the characteristics of initials,vowels,tones and their cooperative relationship of the West part of Qinshui dialect by the form of tables.The fourth part is the synchronic study,including the comparative research on three aspects of consonants,vowels and tones.Each part is divided into three parts.In the east part of Qinshui dialect compare with Changzhi and Gaoping which belong to the dialect region named Shangdang.In the west part of Qinshui dialect compare with Yicheng,Fushan which belong to the dialect region named Fenhe River.And then the east part compares with the west part.There is a grasp of the Qinshui dialect form the contrast of the surrounding dialects and the internal dialects.The fifth part is the diachronic study.We make a comparison between theinitials,finals,tone of voice in Qinshui dialect and the phonetic system of medieval and modern times.We mainly use books of "Guangyun" and "Zhongyuanyinyun","China phonology study".The purpose is to summarize the diachronic evolution of Qinshui dialect,looking for a better interpretation foe the ancient relics of phonetic.The sixth part is the monographic study.Including the comparison of the phonetic system of new and old in Qinshui dialect;literary and colloquial readings in the west part of Qinshui dialect;reduplicated form and so on.In the comparative study of new and old,we analyse the differences form initials and vowels,and analysing its causes;and we analyse the law about literary and colloquial reading in the west of Qinshui dialect.In reduplicated form,we analyse the language characteristics of reduplicated form on noun,verb,adjective,quantifiers from lexical category.The conclusion summarizes the t phonetic features and evolution law in Qinshui county dialect,pointing out the deficiencies,future directions and prospects for the project in this paper.
